and the game will start to flourish instead of dying
" I snort laughed reading that first line. What do you think Google Translate is if not an AI? Did you know DeepL generally is more accurate than Google Translate? The only real difference is it was originally intended only for European languages. It has since expanded, but is nowhere close to Google's 130+ supported languages Just some info for you to catch you up on things ^^ The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" Well thanks for giving some information! You want the major passives to directly contribute to the small passives? I'm not sure how i feel about that though i would definitely agree with cluster jewels seeing some fleshing out in various areas where they are currently a bit lacking for some builds. Perhaps methods of crafting on them to achieve such ends as you're wishing for here? Innocence forgives you

" Funny how its intended for european languages yet when translating portuguese to english it doesn't translate directly, meaning it changes words to others that don't mean the same while google translator directly translates the same word. Also no, google translate wasn't initially using "AI" as you people refer today, it scanned documents to decide the best word for the translation. Difference between scanning well verified documents and scanning everything in the web. At a certain point the more data an AI has, the worse it performs. Ugh... this is 2024 not 2006. If you have to time travel to make your point right you lost it.
My point was that DeepL is a perfectly acceptable tool for translating text and in my personal experience it yields better results too. Honestly, I think this exchange has run its course... " to GGG Another example of solving the huge job I've outlined. Make a VAAL jewel! It has some parameters If cluster jewel system detects the presence of VAAL Jewel then it has a property with 5 values - similar to 5 timeless jewels. If 1 then it changes some node (increase, decrease etc) in the first Limeless Jewel - if 4 then some property is changed or added to the 4 time jewel. This way all 3 systems are intertwined and new possibilities for customising the build appear. Maybe some people can't do this work, but my team - under my supervision - can. *** Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) *** |

I will welcome any system additions with open arms as that only improves the game by opening more avenues to character customization. Its good for build variety.
But reworks - I am not that much on board with. They tend to kill one thing to implement another and that messes with everyone who is using the current/old thing. What if someone depends on typical cluster jewel of today? I also don't agree that the game is dying. It has serious problems but is currently gaining popularity despite them. And if we start listing games problems in terms of urgency to fix - cluster jewels would not be on the top of the list. When fallacious arguments aren't convincing comes the biased moderation. " But reworks - I am not that much on board wit Yes, the person dependent on the modified node will suffer, but 200,000 players will be happy with the new features. You could put it this way - - each of those 200,000 had a dependency and they all suffered a little bit. But those opportunities with hundreds of new connections will make up for the discomfort of the loss. |

" The game is dying in light of the release of a new game. Haven't you heard the saying: - The best is the enemy of the good? When POE1 comes out, people will flock to the game and get thoroughly sucked into it - you don't have another life to stay in POE1 get thoroughly sucked into it get thoroughly sucked into it Last edited by Staglaitor_#3917 on Sep 26, 2024, 11:02:58 AM
