" Oh please...don't say THAT line. It's tired, dumb, and not his job to prove a negative. Also "proof" If I had a top ten list of the most asinine things to say in a conversation, that line would take the #1 spot. It is the domain of tinfoil hatters and people who believe that mole men are living in the core of the earth ready to come up and kill us all at any time. If you want to prove ANY of what you claim in this thread....its YOUR job to do so. Because you made the claims. Otherwise it just comes across as foolish and troll-y You talked of insults and ganging up and unfair treatment in discord leading to you getting banned and no one else. Because of "disagreement". Evidence here is again leading in a different direction. You also appear to continue to use "dev" and "moderator" somewhat interchangeably...I'd be careful. I would also point out that CW was known to pretty reguarly comment in threads and with players here back in the day. Again....not in the feedback forum or "general" forum, but on more official threads. Same with another one, I forget their name, I don't think it was Bex here (that was reddit i believe). But in almost every instance its a single, long, explanatory post and then they disappear because they have nothing to gain with a back and forth in ANY forum. Just watch their frequent public interviews. Last edited by mefistozxz on Sep 15, 2024, 6:40:30 PM

" i like said before you can have your opinion, im no judge to that but you pulling on every strain of hair you can it seems. im not sure if its noticable but my native language isnt english and people in voice chat dont understand me regularly. weird move on pointing that out :D " i mean i pointed towards certain directions but here is 1 of the screenshots from talkative tri's most recent video where he shows these screenshots of a ggg developer interacting with other people. there is more but well i think thats evidence enough. " so basically you want me who is banned on this poe discord server to somehow hack into it and look for these 3 years old conversations only to "prove" that they ganged up on me? of course there were also actions against some of those people like the moderator said in private chat, but it took one wrong moderator having a bad day, but this is not the point and core of my thread here i dont want to get unbanned there. it just shows what type of community poe is. ANY critique and ANY feedback ends up in gathering insults and bash on people because they dislike something in the game. but like said not the topic here. later on some of those people appeared on the Last Epoch discord and showed screenshots to my disadvantage then called me out on prove it wrong (wHeRe aRe yOuR sCrEeNsHoTs) lol and other people jumped on the same wagon to simply insult me later on. i got muted for 24 hours when i started defending myself against them and decided to use a bot to delete all my messages and leave the discord. " all of them have the GGG tag in discord (as far as i remember) and a red name. here they have a yellow name and GGG behind their name so how do you want me to differentiate between dev and mod? legit question. so basically that proves the point that they simply dont care about any feedback or critique from regular players (not casuals that stop playing after they see the skilltree) my question is then, why have a forum where you can share feedback and suggestions? lol just boil it down to bug reports or something and thats it. i cant even remember bli$$ard ever doing such things :D "There are Penalties in the Game, no one's complaining about them" Chris Wilson Exilecon 2019 Last edited by Wladicorist1 on Sep 16, 2024, 2:04:09 AM

Spoiler
" 1) you dont have to "hack" into that Discord. just make a new account lmao. 2) here's an ELI5 for you on why proving a negative is asinine: https://www.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/165bbz9/eli5_what_does_the_phrase_you_cant_prove_a/ - I am sure this will be enlightening The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge. Personally, I'd really prefer that GGG keep their interaction to these forums. I don't really like that they share data on discord, which then doesn't get seen by anyone not on the right discord server or channel (which, as OP said, isn't even officially related to GGG). This should be the place for official comments and data, so that it's all in one official place.
Obviously major announcements and whatnot can be duplicated across multiple places, such as linking them on reddit, discord, x, etc., with the original being posted here. |
|
" Two things: 1) they already do this with major announcements. Anything actually WORTH reading for most people is posted in the form of an official announcement everywhere. All these random posts, such as the ones linked by the OP, are useless repeats of information ALREADY GIVEN in interviews. There is your "official" information source. 2) Devs are people too. And they are gamers. They don't exist in a vacuum that is "official GGG announcements". Nor should they be expected to. As in #1, all official drafted major announcements are shared here and everywhere. But their own personal interactions are personal and innocuous. |
