I was feeling sick while playing the game, well Just found out about sensory overload

Apparently, sensory overwhelm can cause a whole host of issues including, migraines, nausea and vomiting, inability to focus, aphasia, and loss of motor skills.
I kept feeling sick while playing this game in HDR and was not feeling sick when i was playing other games, and i couldnt for the life of me figure out why this game makes me feel sick when playing it.

Turned OFF Windows AutoHDR and in SDR mode with enough brightness makes the game feel peacefull. Did not realise that the brightness and the strobbing of skill effects on top of HDR made me feel sick.

Are you actually trying to say that you found a solution to the problem yourself, instead of demanding GGG to change the game based on your personal, subjective experience?

That's unheard of in here, grats.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
Not the first time I hear people say they feel sick from HDR. It's not just gaming, but also TVs. E.g. my late father bought an OLED TV and regretted it as soon as things got a little crazier when we watched a movie together. :D

Glad you found a solution that works for you!
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Funny you should say this, because I've experienced some of the same types of symptoms from POE. I would describe it as a general wooziness, particularly a feeling of spaciness, lack of focus, and a mild-to-moderate reduction in motor skills. It would set in and persist until I quit the league.

Most leagues are fine (this one was), but I couple of them were rough. That being said, my desire to play POE would win out, wooziness be damned.
Just wait till I get my Acer SpatialLabs glassless 3D display and actually blast POE2 full 3D mode.

Waiting with impatience, for lack of better words.

Keep in mind, a good Monitor will last for 10+ years and doesnt impact your game performance over its lifespan (its refresh-rate may impact you a little bit).

;)
I occasionally have this in some select games and for me adjusting graphics helps a lot. Something about excessive bloom, motion blur and oversharpened images (or bad implementations of fxaa) gets to my eyes. Final Fantasy XIV's recent "graphics update" is a good example, that shit just straight up gives me eye strain where I haven't had any issues playing for 10 years prior.

I wholeheartedly agree with what others have said, though. Investing into a good monitor (and a pair of glasses if you need them) is a game changer. Literally.
