From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?
I'm definitely mainly staying with PoE1. I don't play Trade anymore and I find PoE2 in the endgame, as an SSF player, is incredibly boring.
Once PoE2 has proper crafting I might revisit it, but until then I'm not touching it anymore. It's not even remotely about zooming and going fast (Monks in PoE2 play pretty much like a PoE1 meta build), it's about the agency I have as a player to build the character I want through my own efforts, not waiting for Lady Luck to gift me with a perfect instance of RNG so I can slam a good item. The endgame mapping loop also feels pretty dull. It's more akin to Last Epoch monoliths than PoE1 maps. PoE2 obviously has potential, but it's a few years off being even close to PoE1 for me. yeah only poe 1
waiting for a league similar fun that was scourge for me. that league mechanic gave so much adrenalin and dopamine rush with epic music in the background. a fun league like that the only thing that can make me pay for poe 1 ever again. I dont even care the loot or the shiny graphics. I only care about the game loop if its fun or not. |

There is no doubt that my desire is to remain in POE 1, but with an annual league that is currently reality I will not play Poe 1 or 2 but another game.

" Yeah, Monster Hunter Wilds it is. Easily 2-3k hours grind ahead with monthly updated content. When GGG launches a new league I would play it, but PoE2 is so far off from what I consider to be fun or enjoyable that I doubt it will be ever a game I like. |

for me , here is the plan : POE 1 forever and poe 2 as filler between leagues.
learning is a painful process ... knowledge is the most deadly weapon.
