Player pets (the instrument playing goblins) - how can I mute them?
I am quite a Goblin Troupe enjoyer myself.
But I would love an option to turn off or cull effects of other people. Rogue Harbour lags for me as hell. But GGG is quite notorious for forcing players to suffer for no need. But I do hope that Faustus in Kingsmarch has showed them the error in their ways. P.S. I do think sounds are important. Admiral one shot is very well telegraphed - DEPTHS CRUSH YOU! That is not one shot attack.

the bit that upsets me is they got rid of the wriggly tentacle kill effect in the poe2 endgame after it gave a couple people goosebumps.
the trolling worked, and now i exclusively do everything in kingsmarch or the hideout where the goblins can't get me. |

Great MTX for town sitting trolls.
It's really too bad because I am relegated to muted before I hit town, and I really do enjoy the immersion of the game sounds. Very poor form from the MTX guys to produce this aberration. Last edited by superbomb1967#5561 on Feb 26, 2025, 10:20:37 AM

I'm still trying to solve the mystery of why it takes me 0.2 seconds to load a combat zone but 10-20 seconds to load into town. Could this be a factor?
All depressing jokes aside, they'll never add an option to mute this stuff for money because that would be a confession that they are selling MTX specifically to annoy other players. One day a game will come along that will let me spawn directly into the hideout so I can play my 99.9% single player game without having to look at yall, but today ain't that day |

" All the flashy MTXes makes it that way. |

Been saying this for awhile... game is terribly optimized, and especially when it comes to MTX's. It shouldnt even be a question of 'if', we should jsut have an option to disable others mtx's.
Simple. GGG - Why you no?

Game engine is constantly doloading shader effects instead keeping them on HDD.

I do not have those pets. But i like them when i run across players who has them. So i kind of think. why do you buy those pets if you dont like the sounds.
i dont get it. |

Only a problem in rogue harbor for me.
I mean I like music they make, but it's start-stop, start-stop. One normal speed, other slightly sped up but the same. Comes across as minimal effort. Give them different tunes, let them play the whole thing, hell, give them the whole big band list. Now they're just annoying. Did you try turning it off and on again?
