LAG SPIKES

Poe is the only game where i join certain area and experience 5k ping spikes every 5 seconds almost everyday. Game is amazing but playable only after 2 am when everyone else sleep. I was calling my internet provider and he told me to restart router and at first glance i thought it helped but now i know i was so wrong. Latency graph looks literally like mountains all the time.

I have the same issue. Latency spiking like crazy in PoE only. Doing ping tests while quitting PoE I get quick reply speed.

Playing in Singapore / Japan server in the night time is nightmare.
I get constant ~40ms ping in hideout, while if I got to a bad server for a map, it's 700+ lag spikes every 5 seconds
Extremely frustrating.

My experience is exactly the same as the one siemajd1 described, but I'm on South Africa.

20ms ping in the hideout, perfectly normal. Then when I open a map, its like a roll of the dice and if I get the wrong roll and it creates my map on a bad server location, my latency graph turns into a mountain range. 5 second delay on movement, insane spikes to over 400ms, sometimes even over 5000ms and I'll die causing me to lose a port, and sometimes even the entire map. Not a pleasant experience at all, and only in PoE.

I hope they fix this soon, because it's clear that it happens at peak times, and it has predictable qualities when it flares up.

Yeah i play on Sao Paulo and it's unplayable.

The lag spikes today are atrocious. They were bad yesterday too, but not this bad. Died a few times already, almost want to quit playing at this point. They really need to get this under control, this happens far too often.

Latency spike in the full seconds while fighting Black Heart [Texas Realm], with scenes freezing for up to a minute at a time, is not reassuring when two Twitch streams are continuing on the other monitor without any bother. If I am going to fail, it should not be from server issues. I have sufficient lack of skill for that.

I have had this happen several times over the past two weeks with only PoE.

same issue all day. i've been struggling with latency spikes that make the game nearly unplayable, and it would be if i was playing hardcore or trying to level. i've died multiple times due to the horrible latency issue.

at this point poe is my morning game after 12 Am game is unplayable.
