[3.25] CheapBunny's Warcries Animate Guardian's Weapon Chieftain | Marohi Erqi | Rallying Cry
Introduction Imagine wielding 14 Marohi, a better Marohi, without attack peed/accuracy penalty and deal double damage. This is unconventional minion build that utilizing warcrys to buff animated weapons, it has pretty good damage with decent defenses and a lot of buttons xD. While I find this build pretty fun to play, it might not for everyone, as it require using multiple warcries periodically (a many-buttons build), I even need to use second skill bar for mark skill. Another issue is that animated weapon is not tanky enough for ubers, so it struggles against ubers that cannot pre-load weapon. Uber maven is a no go because her fire ball shotgun will straight up kill your guardian, however T17s are fine. Now you have been warned, enjoy the build guide if you still want to play :D. The build idea started with Rallying Cry. I thought it work pretty well with Marohi, which has huge weapon damage that can use to buff minions. And because we only need the weapon damage, the accuracy/attack speed downside does not affect the build. In 3.25, GGG has reworked many warcrys, now most of their buff can affect ally , so we can use those in this build as well. Why Chieftain?

I chose Chieftain mainly because of this ascendancy node, it gives warcry buff effect and makes sure every warcries we use has maximum buff effect Fire res ascendancy nodes from Chieftain also can provide a lot of defenses to the build, so we can focus on offensive power elsewhere. High numbers minions would get the most benefit from Rallying Cry + Marohi combo, and animate weapon comes to my mind. Because we already have so may buttons to press, using Chain of Commands to automate summonning animate weapon will be a lot smoother. The added main hand damage bonus can even be doubled when combo with Paradoxica. Why scales critical?

Summoning Animate Guardian's Weapon

To able to summon Animate Guardian's Weapon (AGW), we will need to use the skill gem Animate Guardian (AG). Whenever AG kills an enemy, there is 100% to summon the weapon AG is using as AGW. And when AGW kills an enemy there is 10% to summon AGW. So to maximize the summoning chance, we need to have a way to credit all the kills to AG, this can achieved by equipping AG with Gravebind. During some boss fight, there is nothing to kill for summoning AGW. To solve that, we use The Writhing Jar, which spawns worms for AG to kill. Taking Essence Extraction cluster and annointing Replenish Remedies ensure the flask charges always up during boss fight. Defenses used in the build

AG/AGW Survivability

AG tends to die occasionally in the early game, which could be frustrating, as you will need to buy his gear again. Try to play carefully or only swap into AG/AGW when you have good enough gear/minion defensive stats. AG almost never die in the end game, except for uber mavens, her fire ball shot gun will kill all your AG/AGW. AGW is also not tanky enough for ubers, so this build struggles against ubers that cannot pre-load weapon. When AGW die in uber fight, it is very hard to get back to maximum number of AGW, because they will keep dying while you are resummoning. AGW also die occasionally in some juiced/T17 maps, but it is not a issue as you can resummon AGW very quickly during mapping. Videos

Leveling with Sunder starting in act 1, path to Spiritual Aid passive nodes as soon as possible. Grab Herald of Purity in act 2, and you could level with Sunder + HoP up to yellow or even red maps. What is the item/skills your animate-guardian using? It looks like you have animate weapons too, but I can't see how you got the lingering blades or AW spell on your POB

i dont get why you have so many warcries. do they affect your animate weapon throught you chest? Do you think it would work for an iron mass build as well

" Most warcries now give buff to ally by default as well in 3.25, not because of the chest. It would work for iron mass build as well, just may not be as optimal, because rallying cry requires high damage main hand weapon like Marohi to be good. Does Tukohama, War's Herald actually interact with the minions in any way? I would think their attacks are just melee and not a strike or slam?
