Reduce Enemy Block Chance While Using a Sword

Ok... so if it does not (and we assume he uses Dual Strike) apply to the Mace, what happens at a strike where the Mace-part of the hit would be blocked but the sword-part not?
These passives change nothing about this situation. You can already block one weapon but not the other, as each weapon calculates a hit separately, and then the damage (if any) of those two hits is summed and applied as a single hit. If you block one weapon and not the other, then you blocked a hit, and you took damage from other one.
Thanks for the quick reply! That answered everything I wanted to know too!

U do realize dps is calculated by damage per second not damage per hit right? The mace should hit way harder because its slower and the sword hits more often for less... Thats pretty basic math.

learn how to read man, why do you find it so hard to comprehend absolutely anything?

I'm not talking about tooltip DPS
I said per hit on an opponent. The Swords elemental damage is not calculated by its attack speed. It rolls a flat value, that can be amplified with attack speed, to improve your overall dps. The mace doesn't have higher elemental values (your logic), they have almost exactly the same. Attack speed has absolutely nothing to do with a weapons damage values. Yes, it increases your over all dps (derp), but it does not mean the aesthetic elemental damage on weapons increase, example being, if you exalt attack speed.

The swords tooltip dps is obviously higher, yet the mace hits harder ( 1 attack each ). It is illogical, but the truth. What makes the mace hit harder? They should be hitting the same* damage 1:1.

10-15 physical damage, should not and does not double my damage.

First, the damage numbers are all higher on the mace. Second, go find a ring or ammy with 10-15 Phys damage and equip it, your DPS will go up by a lot, no where near 10-15, Hell, try it with a 1-4 damage plain iron ring VS nothing in the slot, you can even make your APS 1.00 if you want to see w/o factoring attack speed.

There is a simple rule here I know you didn't follow, because it's currently impossible to in this game. At least 1000 swings are needed of both weapons, and their damage averaged over at least that many swings in order to count. I could take both of those weapons, swing them each 10 times at the same enemy type, and tell you the sword hit higher on average. You have so many factors going on like crit, and 4 damage ranges rolling and multiplying off of those base numbers that it's impossible to tell for sure without DPS numbers appearing in a log.

Law of large numbers, check it out sometime. In older games like Dark Age of Camelot and Everquest anything anyone tried to prove with under 10,000 swings of each weapon was considered garbage. Just because you flip a coin and you get heads 5 times in a row doesn't mean that coin is broken.

pretty much everything you just said is irrelevant, of course i have taken every obvious into consideration. It is also bad to assume, how are you to know that i have not tested this 30 000 times? also, ' the law of large numbers ' is pretty much universal common knowledge..
I still wonder if u can overstack block above 75 to compensate for swords block chance reduction.

So if you get all the 2h sword block decrease nodes, does it make like the enemy block chance null or something?
Animalistic in nature, somebody help me
there is 100% to reduced enemy chance to block sword attacks but its not really efficient to get them all anyways, the ones by RT are the easiest ones to get, but it's a stretch to go all the way over to the ranger side of the tree to pick up the other 40%

u could easily do it, and theres alot of nice nodes along the way.
