I don't think that's true. They are hiring from all over the world, but u have to move to NZ to be able to work for GGG. I don't know why that's needed, but I guess it has something to do with laws in NZ. Octavian for example is someone who moved to NZ to be able to work for GGG. He's originally from the US iirc.
