Game constantly crashing to desktop 100% of time (Solved)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-E Gaming WIFI X2 G.Skill F5-6400J3239G32G DDR5 (32G EACH) ------------------------------------------------- If made sure ALL my drivers and windows are up to date. If tried like 15+ suggested fixes but nothing is working and I'm at a loss. My friend think maybe my "BIOS" is out of date and that might be causing it but i have no clue how to update "BIOS" without breaking anything. " Its just crazy how a pc like your is crashing... Im crashing too, most time I could play was about 1 hour. To get in the game need to try abou 5 - 10 times, one enter the game, after little time, when loading screen for something (mainlly for town) the game crashs again. Since friday Im traying to play but I couldnt pass act 3... Im realy sad with this patch, the game was running fine... | |

I'm having the same problem.
I tried: - Rebooting - Uninstalling/reinstalling all drivers that could have anything to do with the game - Steam check integrity - Reinstalling the game - Closing all other apps - Disabling/unplugging other devices - Different mouse/keyboard/speakers - Installing the game on a different disk - Removing appdata and "documents\my games\path of exile" I'm 100% unable to play PoE, IF I make it to the login screen, it'll crash to desktop there. It doesnt happen on WoW (MY main game) but only on PoE and also was doing same thing consistently with Helldivers 2 as well... id drop to planned load in out of pod and usually within 1-10min it would just crash to desktop.

go into the event viewer or the reliability monitor, match up the time of the last crash to desktop and see what is there

Wanna join the conversation, have quite similar things.
Can't provide screenshots, cos they are in russian, but shortly: when i try to load a char i get an error: Can't access the file Q:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Path of Exile\Bundles2\Art\2DArt\Cubemaps.E.bundle.bin Also when i try to switch to Dx12 i get an error: Can't access the file Q:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Path of Exile\ShaderCacheD3D12.packed\1.dat I checked permissions, they are fine it seems at least. | |
