Problem with GateWay (São Paulo server)
Very old issue for a lot of people that GGG really never did anything about it tbh... ISPs like OI that uses CGNAT has a lot of route problems with POE, since the game is constantly creating new instances, at this time of the league GGG removes some servers since the game retention is lower and the problems become way more noticeable. I'm one of those who have the "150 washington ping" issue; I log on to SP server "to sao01.login.pathofexile.com in 31ms" and half the time the instances are created like this "Connecting to instance server at 169.57.216.117:6112" "Connect time to instance server was 125ms"... Honestly I can't see this ever being solved throught ISP side unless GGG change their servers to IPV6 or something.

Latency all the way up to 1000MS in São Paulo Gateway despite 0% packet loss according to WinMTR. This issue doesn't happen with gateways from other regions.

Same here, playing in USA server with ~140ms latency... :(
|
|
Pls fix São Paulo server. Its unplayable, every 2~3 maps the instance crashes and ping goes crazy.

i have to say
these last 6 months the quality of the sao paulo realm was in better shape than never but today it feels like it was all a dream |

Same problem here from Argentina with Claro ISP.
Normal latency was 50ms and now is 150-170 since 3 weeks ago. https://pastebin.com/1iHd4RZi | |
same problem here in japan server. it became worse about some weeks ago

Today I found something really interesting, in BR there seems to be two subnets of ips used for servers 163.109.69.0/24 and 169.57.216.0/24, and when connecting to any 163.109.69.0, the routing works fine and ping is around 30-40ms
But, when connecting to 169.57.216.0 routing goes to MIAMI for some reason, and then returns to Brazil, having always around 150ms+ Idk how and if its useful, but hopefuly someone here can reach out to Claro, I already talked with them, but as I said in another post, they barely know how to setup a DMZ, the answer was "Our internatinal connections are working fine", afters 1.5 hours of trying to explain the man what the issue was |

In the meantime, I wont be playing at all, I will try to contact my ISP again, but the reality is that GGG should use their leverage as a big company to solve these issues
A great example of this is Riot, with Riot Direct, and the big improvement it gave to connectivity I understand this is not GGG's fault, but if we can't solve it in our end, and they obviously want us to keep playing, they should at the very least send an email to at least the top 2 ISPs in countries with connectivity issue, and give them the tools to solve this |

Managed to get a decent ping using ExitLag
Its a paid service, but at least for me its 39ms stable Suffice to say, wont be putting a penny in the game until I can stop using this program |
