How are players getting 8k+ Energy Shield?

Over 7.1k with Discipline, shouldn't be that difficult to get over 8k. My Helm and Shield are far from "good."
Helm - 196 Chest - 522 Gloves - 116 Belt - 40 Boots - 62 Shield - 174 Amulet - 19 Ring - 31

You can get an effective multiplier to the ES of your gear of over 600% from passives, while still maintaining some semblance of a build, so the theoretical maximum lies well over 12k.

You multiply all your gear, than multiply it again (x-y+z=t-u+p)
Than shove it up your butt. |

Note that "Infused shield" added multiplicative, it is not additive - so it is a pretty nice boost.

around 8.7k ES shield with this. Most was self found / self crafted other then the shield and weapon. Too bad she's in default now. |
