Essence monsters not dropping anything

With the re-introduction of allflames in necro settlers, this bug still persists 8 months later.

This just happened to me while using the Unique sapphire ring Pyre. I am guessing it has to do with any items/abilities that destroy corpses on kill, since someone also mentioned Asenath's Gentle Touch, though there could be other factors, like Allflame enemies. My bug report reference number is #3,729,840,925, though that was after I returned to town. If you need one right after it happens, let me know. I will aim for it to happen again and get the screenshot for it.
