I agree with this. Honestly (and yes I have played a lot since this league is so amazing) but I have made more in the past two months than my total in my first 10 years. 6 mirrors where I had zero in ten years of playing. And a few thousand Divines etc. and I have not even sold most of my usual stuff like essences, fragments etc. crazy stuff. I am definitely going to have a rough time next league unless it is also a loot pinata.

end of March as it's going to be another 4 month league. Next league is likely going to also be another 4 month league as the small team is already quite comfy with that instead of the 3 months. We hit mid of the summer time after 3 months of the next league and everyone is going to be all burned out and bored, and it's quite likely that the last month of the 4 month cycle is going to be filled with the PoE2 beta.

No. They said POE 1 and 2 will run alongside eachother, likely 1.5 months of each.Poe 1 won't just stop, because Poe 2 is a completely different game that many will not enjoy.

Secondly, Poe 2 Beta comes out June 7th. It cannot be a 4 month league, as that will mean next league starts same time as Poe 2 beta. It's gonna be a 3 month league (likely finishing early March) so we get to play a month of the new league before worrying about Poe 2 Beta.

Here's hoping early March. I did not enjoy this league at all.

They had said "Early April" in an interview about a month ago.

Hopefully the new league is in March.

I enjoyed the league a lot to the point that i have played 6x multi mirror builds and had to delete all of my characters to not keep playing.

Imo we have too much loot this league, while it is nice for beginners it also takes the fun out the grind. I made 150-250 div/hour with MF and 5 way carry services are also at 120-140 div/hour without counting the jewels from it.

Anyway, once Poe2 comes out, PoE1 will lose a portion of its player-base. It is already over 11 years old and with a new iteration of PoE coming out, it's not unreasonable to say that PoE1 only has a few years left. I personally do not think PoE1 will continue past 2027, which is a few years away and a couple of years after PoE2 launch. Just outright saying "NO" as though your opinion is fact holds no more water than someone saying yes. This is a timeline speculation thread after all.
