TLDR: Trade needs an update, not only for QoL, but also for OBVIOUS other reasons.

To make the game even easier? So instead of interacting with the game content we will have to interact with the market even more? No thanks. Trade is what makes the game balance cancerous because the drop rates and the items power are balanced around the tradies.

The game doesn't get any easier thanks to trading. Actually the opposite cause you suddenly gain the freedom to make use of PoE's large offered diversity, play around with the deep complexity and not be stuck on favorite steamers TR build for the 10th time, but yea I know that's something a hc or ruthless player never really experience thanks to the lacking economy in either of the two modes hoho.

If anything all the new introduced player power with each league and the unchanged old content makes the game easier and easier. pinnacle bosses, the corresponding uber fights, sim30, juiced maps are all just heavily outdated and out of touch with the crazy power level we have these days. Best example for that is ruthless and how easy people destroy all the content even with the handy cap of being slowed down in progress and "difficulty". hoho

The only useful change would be to either buff content to the current power level of player or nerf the player power and put an end to the ever growing power creep.
Game's been taking the same path as D3 since several leagues, just add more and easier player power while keeping the game in a pretty easy state.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Pashid you can't possibly believe that the game isn't easier without trade think about what you are saying, I agree that high volume offers loads of opportunities for weird, niche and very item dependant builds but even that is because of trade (hard > impossible)

The only thing harder about trade in SC is getting responses and the eye rolling of dealing with yet another scammer :p basically its toxic but the amount of power you can buy for next to nothing is outrageous.
Low to no accessibility to a large range of items makes your time easier cause your more limited to less builds. less builds also means less theory crafting for some new fun ideas. So you just stick with one of the few shoelace budget friendly skills and still destroy all of the current games content with ease without a single trade interaction. You can go for more complex stuff even without trade sure, but it's not guaranteed that you ever fully finish your build the way you want it even if you dedicate your entire life into the league. So yes having access to all items makes the game a lot harder if you do theory craft your own builds and try to clear all content even on current meme abilities, and not just go with the hc or ssf player strat and copy steamer xyz's op meta build for the x'th time

The difference in wealth and build power between trade and SSF league proly shows that huge difference. poe.ninja is open for everyone.

Sure, in the economy basically balanced around flip-flop, scam, buy-sell, not playing the market in any way makes your income is way lesser and limiting you in the possible build choices. But the root of that issue is the balance built around the trading and not around interacting with content.

These tradies want even more. They are not satisfied by 100 mirror build blaming GGG for the awful trade system. Okay.

You are mistaking "easy" with "simple". Game 100% gets easier with trade. Thats why SSF is considered "hard mode".
Acress to more builds does not make it harder. It makes it less simple, aka more complex.

COMPLEX =/= HARD

On average your "gear score" (think average item power) is going to be lower in SSF compared to trade. You also cannot spam one farming method and outright buy endgame items like Mageblood or Headhunter in SSF. Big ticket items are not likely going to be available to you. This essentially makes the game more difficult and no mental gymnastics will make that otherwise
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
i like poe. the trading part is the absolute worst part of the game. 1/2 of the time, the sellers do not even reply. we should need to do a FTF trade. click buy and done like in BDO
