Massive perfomance degradation while doing the map
Sorry OP they completely ignored whole performance situation.
I have 111fps in ho instead of 144fps in 4060ti 5600x 32gb 3200mhz, other games go 144fps. In maps i got fps from 111 to 30 when fighting 3 monsters, in hell of hordes i got 25fps 20, no help here, no drivers reinstal no game reinstal no temps check didnt work. Again other games go well. dx12 vulcan no just no, whole situation stands still. What i see is when i got fps drop from 100+ in maps to 30 i see my gpu and gpu power drop off when fightning monsters and use skills Gpu from 90 usage to 25 usage Everytime, when i fight even 3 monsters Still no fix, i got 3 weeks problem But instead i see no patches fixes performance instead every day they sell mtx MTX MTX MTX |

This seems to be the same exact issue as I'm experiencing.
I thought it was related to the skill I'm using (Splitting Steel) and how many projectiles it spams across the screen. Those projectiles seem to remain in the map and being rendered for the duration. https://youtu.be/XT6E4fqvlZY I recorded this video to illustrate how the problem looks. It's a scoured T16 map with only Eater altars and Jun missions enabled. The graphics card is an RTX 2080 Ti, with an 12th gen i7 CPU on a dedicated Samsung EVO 970 Plus M2 NVMe SSD. The entire system is cooled with dedicated AIO-coolers for the CPU and GPU. The case itself has nothing but Noctua fans installed. The CPU load according to NZXT CAM was never above 50% and the GPU load was at 44%. Temperatures did not exceed 55 degrees Celcius. My most hated game.

At least on my end, the biggest issue is corpses, showing up via increased CPU frametimes. Most of the loss is prevented by adding corpse removal. Comparison here on a map with some juice(just specced/unspecced the axe mastery) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6jiLAZ-jpo
It's not perfect, but at least I'm not losing 2/3 of my frames by the end. " There is something else going on that's not fully related to corpses persisting on the map, otherwise just standing still and doing nothing would not be improving CPU timings. It might be related to other calculations like impale stacks/pride aura effects lingering on and being calculated even while everything is dead. |
