Blight is horrid. One simple change can make it bearable
How blight encounters go
- you kill like two thousand monsters - one of them explodes you with chaos beneath your feet because of course there is such a monster affix and of course it is incredibly hard to see during the clusterfuck that is blight - you reenter the map, but the mobs keep spawning and moving, causing several seconds of lag and usually ending the encounter, because, you know, you can't do anything while waiting for the map to generate, but things don't stop How to fix this? Well, fucking simple, you know how upon entering somewhere your character is invulnerable before he does an action. How about you also stop the encounter until your character does an action? Sounds more fair than overloading the system, causing lag and screwing over the encounter. Last bumped on Dec 29, 2023, 10:35:45 AM

+1
Blight map lag has gotten so bad for me that if I die and respawn, the time it takes to fully load back into the map takes so long that I literally end up dying again while still stuck on loading screen. I've had to completely abandon this as something to farm, despite how much I like Blight league. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

" I'm pretty sure OP is talking about blighted maps which you can't get wisps in. The sheer number of enemy saturation in those maps are atrocious compared to normal map Blights. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
