I understand that the concept was to create a juicy map league for players who occasionally play maps and don't spend tens of divs on juicy super extra secret strats, but this is too much....

Sounds like this is not a strategy you have tried, and do not understand the mechanics of how it works or why people are doing it. Which does bring into question how you got your "legit" mageblood TBH if you are claiming it's from a mechanic you don't understand.

Spires fire projectiles that spawn new waves a limited amount of times based on their phase. You can increase the number of projectiles, you can't increase the number of times they fire the projectiles. This is not a new mechanic, the league just adds an extra projectile modifier which tips the balance enough to make abysses FotM this league, much like ghosting was previously. There are no exploits involved, and the bonuses from this interaction are marginal compared to the juice from the affliction league mechanic. If spires were nerfed right now it would not significantly impact the income people are getting per hour.

Told you he didn't know any exploits =/ we would have found by now through reddit even.

Why do you even play then? You don't like getting easy loot and items, even though you seem to have "invested" a lot in your char. You could maybe do something productive and achieve some end-game goals instead of making salty topics and comments.
