Well, to set things in perspective here...
I was watching a YouTube vid the other day, which seemed to be captured from a live stream. The streamer was Raxxanterax, who is fairly new to PoE. Well, he dropped two Magebloods, nothing special, right? Anyhow, he had the official Path of Exile twitch account in his chat while spamming price checks with Awkaened PoE trade.
There are people that will tell you this is banable, but I have never seen anyone with evidence, words from GGG or anything like it. I have been using it since it came out, so has everyone I know playing PoE.
This season has been bad in that regard especially. I don't remember it ever being this bad

Oh you mean the guy who plays an MF build in the best ever MF league who was farming an extra juicy map tha the set up while having an altar that gives a 20% chance to duplicate unique drops? That guy?
People will come up with any reason why someone else got luckier than them.

Sales are not going well, instead of improving the game to incentivize, it is easier to ban to encourage the creation of new accounts, and consequently the purchase of at least stash tabs... Nothing new in the gaming industry...

Others have answered your questions already; but, I wanted to add that there are also websites that price items/have pricing calculators. So, if you are still paranoid about Awakened, you can just use those as they do not attach to your game at all, you just copy and paste the item information from the game into the website.
I was not aware of Exilence myself. I will check that out, thanks!

Should I be worried about hearing all these peoples accounts getting smoked? I have thousands of dollars of MTX on my account.
Any GGG community members want to comment on Awakened, Exilence and Path ?
All of those are ToS compliant. Don't worry if that's all you are doing. Now... if you are doing bots, multiboxing, scripting, RMT, trading in-game currency for benefits of some kind... then yeah.
Every ban wave you get a lot of people feinting innocence whilst buying multiple mirrors in a league or using illegal 3rd party apps / websites / scripts.

So its technically not impossible to be false banned, but this banwave just hit alot of people who weren't respecting TOS.
You aren't safer than you were 6 months ago or in 6 months.

my friend plays poe since 2014, and he gets ban for nothing rly, we try on Affliction League plays party mf, he was our trader and mf boy, he lost his job and plays poe like 16+ hours. I know him a long years, he don't even try to use RMT or any soft, he buys a lot of support packs and today he gets answer about ban like - ur account is closed and not be unbanned. so. nice job GGG. it's rly ban for nothing.
