so what is the new 1 button skill since you dont get bone armor anymore? i see there is withering step and molten shell so this is now a 2 button build?

No, Withering Step and Molten Shell will be automated with Automation so no need to click them. The only button to press is Signal Prey from Predator Support.

Hey man, I don't mean to be rude but I think you need to flesh out your zombies build a little more.

Molten Shell and Withering Step is linked to the new Automation Support gem. Here is what it does: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Automation

The link is on the first page right after Bone Zombie 3.24 but here you go: https://poeplanner.com/builds/595487

Wrecker used to do full build guides - with a separate forum thread for each build each league - but has had some health issues. So nowadays he just posts his builds (but only after he has tried them out himself) and has condensed all three into this one thread.

He's even had to cut down on responding to questions, so long time followers (I'm a returner, so I don't really count) like Camerius have stepped up to answer questions.

And Wreckers guides never were step-by-step hold-my-hand (though PoE often makes me wish for some hand holding!). They are more to give people some guardrails so they can get through the game without bricking their character while doing their own exploring and learning. He plays "use what drops" so you'll never see a mandatory unique in his builds, though we have discussed them in the threads.

That said, if there's something specific you'd like to know feel free to ask!

Edit - this thread "3.24 Summoner Necromancer Optimized Leveling Guide - League Starter" has a lot of details and a pob link to take you through leveling.

Edit2 - And GhazzyTY has a zoomancer guide for 3.24

I know a lot of this comes down to person preference but do you have an atlas tree you would recommend for your Bone Zombies build when playing SSF?

Wow! Thanks for pointing that out about the consume - it's a bait and switch! If only there was a "Summon Reaper of Consumation" which had a consume cooldown of 6 seconds!

I've been looking into Summon Reaper builds since it seems to go with the Necropolis theme. According to poe.ninja, in the Affliction league, Summon Reaper was used in order of popularity by: Champion, Elementalist, Juggernaut and Occultist. The Juggernaut sounds like it would be tanky. Have you considered something like that? (But maybe it requires crazy uniques to scale damage?)

Looking forward to the update to be a Necromancer - you are awesomeness incarnate!

Edit - Are you sure the 25 second cooldown isn't for how often it will eat minions just because, not how often it can get the buff? (See this reddit thread.)
The Reaper is up to date for you now.

I have considered the Jugg, but I find the Jugg SO boring. I know a lot of people like it, but I prefer the Necro for my playstyle. The bonus damage helps makeup for my one-button playstyle and lack of bow play.

Ya. Thanks for the link. I checked it out. The Reaper can use it's Consume skill once every 6 seconds but each buff has it's own cooldown. So the damage buff can only be triggered once every 25 seconds. That's how I read it anyway. I could have misread it.

@WreckerofDays

That is one sweet build! Thank you so much for taking the time to keeping it running.
A quick rundown of it, the gem swap of Minion Speed Support to Empower isn't too hard (already planning on 2x Ghastly's with +minion speed in a Enthroned to cover that loss) but what to put in the helmet as the 4'th slot is a bit more open. Might end up going with Chance to Poison and push the build more in that synergy direction. Other than that, I like that it's so open and leaves space for the last 7 skill points, so can't wait to see where and how far I can take it in Standard. "insert Happy Snoopy Dance"

p.s. What do you think about a Haste/Vaal Haste as 4'th helmet gem? It'll give needed +Attack/+Cast Speed for the minions so the Minion Speed Support in the checst can be exchanged "safely" for Empower.
THanks for the thanks! And Cool! Take the build wherever you like :).

If Haste can be worked into the build without sacrificing defence, as you said, go for it! Because of Unholy Might, the most Attack/Cast Speed we have, the more consistent our damage is. So that'd be a great addition if it can work.[/quote]

Correct! I can't wait for this addition! It'll be new to this league. It's so awesome.
