This game has definitely went overboard with the on-death mechanics.

I mean half the stuff actively chases you now, too. So we didnt have enough on-death effects picking people off in a sea of corpses, mtx, explosions, map overlay, item filters, and generally same color visual vomit, lets make them chase people until they do stop, too.

It just seems excessive. The worst is by far the chaos ones, since they arent bright and shiny like a fireball, and are a muted green.

The game is teaching you to kite, keeping your movements more consistent with speed and power with your palm/whole hand, and also requiring extra focus on your finger to tap walk instead of right click skill. It is better this way, I use this game to help me focus on something instead of doing nothing and I like the game.

I like the game too...a lot, I just wish players could cheat as hard as NPC's do (it's not a level playing ground).

Meh, WOW teaches you how to kite. POE teaches you how to ping-pong around ahead of the damage.

Haha I actually thought about doing just that yesterday. I don't think I will but it's a good idea.
the purple on death effect is by far the WORST one. it makes like a little sound I feel like several other monsters share just when theyre attacking you and by the time you hear the explosion its too late, visually its extremely misleading.

ground effects in general are complete cancer and I recently just died inside of my wild wood when i was grabbing some extra wisps before leaving and some spiders came out of the darkness and instantly exploded on me and i died.


then there's the massive list of everything else going on in this game, Its starting to wear on me honestly.

Is it hard to see? I dont know. It blows up so slow that Im 3 screens away from corpse when it finally blow up.
