How is performance for you compared to the last league?

I have been playing since Beta. A geforce 1080 TI on lowest settings... this patch has been a disaster for me and i'm not sure why. Sure my graphics card isn't the best, but i'm playing everything on minimum settings.

My FPS has gone from 80-100 in my hideout, to 40 since this league started. I also am having non-stop vulkan crashes, forcing me to play on DX11/12 which quite frankly a) looks horrendous, and b) is stutter crazy. Without fail i'll get these crashes in either a) town or b) the new affliction area. Never my hideout or maps. Which makes me think it's rather an issue with GGG's game and/or my graphics card drivers.

I've tried deleting cache and things of that nature, disabling sound, yadadada but to no avail.

I've been keeping a close eye on their issues tracker, but they don't seem to be acknowledging there is a bigger picture here. Just curious how others performance is this league in particular?

I can see lots are having crashes in town but is anyone else crashing in affliction with Vulkan on? The FPS vulkan provides is generally much better, which is why i'm so keen for it to get working again.

Same as last League, runs ok. More or less no crashes, locked 60 fps with medium to high details.
PoE is far from optimized compared to other games. But with a solid hardware setup and the right settings it’s ok.

Loading times are way longer than previous league.
Other than that no real issues for me

Same old start for me. Got in and got kicked out a few times. All seems to have settled down since launch thank god. I'm all about getting the best graphics over fps. I currently get 70+ fps at 1440p using a RTX 3070.

Worse than 2 leagues before...Loading times seem better than last league though..

In any town at least I get a pixalated mess of stuttering.

to OP, please check that your GPU is actually running at x16 speeds

there was a guy who had his 3060 running at x4 slot, that had similar issues lol

no issues and 4k at 80-110fps maxed out.
dx12, 6950xt, 7800x3d.
perfomance with first patch with new poe2 particle had some issues but was fixed with patches and alst league and this runs as well one can ask.

league is bad and horrible designed though so considering quitting atm

Many with nvidia cqrds have issues some with sound interfering and turning off helped, or cache, or something else like to hot cpu due to not cooling enough.

Same as last league, 1 crash on day one and nothing since.

I have had no issues, but I know lots of people who are having tons of problems with game crashing.

A lot more hitches and hiccups. I'm also seeing this weird thing happen where I will kind of go back 2 seconds to a place I was previously. It's like a glitch in the matrix. Happens every so often. Not quite rubber banding but very weird.

Town also takes forever just to load all the shite goblins and bling.
