Characters sent to void league on death should NOT be a map mod

It's nice that there's a warning but whats up with 'lol ventor's gamble for doing unwinnable map with no gear'? That's beyond poor taste.
Why? It makes it a challenge you’d only complete if you actually wanted to play the challenge, rather than work people feel like they should do in order to earn some prize. I feel like that’s vastly preferable.

Because the other alternative is getting the challenge which actually provides a reward for completion.

Would be kinda cool if you would actually get a reward.

Most of those maps are literally troll maps. Nobody in their right mind would assume that this map would kill your character, because in many of them the reward is actually not worth permanent death.

On the other hand you can get mageblood for basically free from some of those maps, with the only challenge that it is a T17 map.

Like the most common map you can get it seems rewards you with Veil of Night or kills you permanently.

Where exactly the reward here? People who did actually make lucrative maps made sure they are easy to run. There are not a lot of maps that actually combine risk and reward well.

And most of the uniques in Voidborn Reliquary are troll submissions such as Wurms Molt with messages like "skull belt" etc.

Who cares?
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
I agree that this mod should not exist in a softcore league but you get a warning when you enter the map so it's ok I guess? (Though it would be better to warn people when trying to use the map instead, so that the map is not consumed.)
It is a good thing that streamers get ultra hard inspirational goals to look after so that they are not done with the league after two weeks or so, as long as it does not deteriorate the experience of the other players I don't mind.
I think there should be a mod, for big payers only: "if you die in this area, your account is deleted", for tier 17 maps, with really big rewards, all optional, with a warning.

It'd be nice, streamers would love it. It'd be very nice indeed.

And then you have a bunch of people feeling bad because they don’t want to risk their characters and can’t get that cool thing.

This way it retains its “entirely optional” feel, almost like it’s outside the game. If you don’t want to do it for the intrinsic reward, you don’t do it. That’s okay.

So you are saying that optional content, that literally no one forces you to run is not okay, despite the fact that upon entering you can immediatly read the list of modifiers and decide whether or not you want to run it?

Ok lol.

People can choose not to run the map, but why fill the game with literal garbage? It´s better for the game experience that when something special drops it´s connected with a good experience rather than a death trap map made by a troll.
In a bathroom, you have 3 clean toilets and one gross one. Sure you don't HAVE to sit on the gross toilet and it doesn't DIRECTLY affect you....but is it good for the bathroom?

This map, and this whole idea of getting to create a specifically rewarding map for MONEY, is the poop in this bathroom stall.

You say that but I bet you haven't complained about all the literal garbage submissions to the Voidborn Reliquary. If anything, you'd put up a token response such as "that sucks too, but at least I dont have to run a map for it" - it's very transparent.

Your argument would work if it was the only drop from a difficult boss. You may just find this by running a white T16 and sneezing at a barrel.

I think my argument is just fine tho, why fill the game with literal garbage?
Yes, there are more examples, but it applies to them aswell.

Softcore should be safe to play, even if you do stupid decisions or just dont read or get what what all the mods do. Atleast thats my opinion.
