Total Deletion of Heist Gems

Might be wrong here, but I'm seeing their question in a different way. I think what they're asking is "why can't alternate quality gems remain in standard". Much like they leave legacy items in standard to have fun with, I think they're asking why don't they remain in the same way.


My previous post still stands. Why would they want to add an additional 100+ gems to the game, and keep what 300 old gems in standard that just became obsolete. Only 1 alternate quality gem for any skill that had 1 was even worth getting, and that one is probably what the base gem has now, which you still have in standard because your gem was converted into the base gem, with its best alt quality stat.

I think it is pretty obvious that the alternate quality gems were simply changed and renamed into all of the new gems we got. You have to think that all this data has to be stored somewhere, and even if leagues end every few months, standard is there forever and only exponentially grows in size the amount of storage and data required there, despite no one even caring about standard or the players who play there,

Standard needs to be removed entirely. Its a waste of space, time, and money.

Yeah no worries, my post was in response to the ones before yours. Hadn't refreshed to see yours before posting, yours was inline with what I think the OP was asking.

increase is additive so that it is not much actual increase of dps


The actual point to removal of enchantment seems a good thing that no one cry for lab runner scam anymore. Just bought the gem from the market directly



And this overall nerf to everyone in temp league so that it does not make anyone have advantage on getting right enchantment on their build while someone cannot.



Meanwhile in Standard, as long as legacy ES mod, legacy unique exists. There is never a fair ground. Deleting heist gem at least make the devs does not need to fix Standard by looking at which heist gem broken the game

This. The amount of currency and time invested into these gems, some of which are build enabeling, to be removed from standard, without being provided anything that is even close to comparable is beyond me.

They did the same thing with cluster aura jewels. By now it must obvious to everyone, that it's not about providing new content, but halting progression and gating as much as possible behind rng and bs mechanics.

* to be clear, this was never about the power creep, at least not for me, this pertains to any game out there that tangles the Pokemon concept. - Catching them all. We are collectors, some hoarders, and we understand that some items are time limited, and its on us to make sure we obtain them, when they are available.

But to alter them or remove them comepletely, all together after we did the chase and spent the time?

How can you think like that ? Players who play standard keeps all their items , league after league . All other payers who plays challenge leagues starts the next league with 3 wisdom scrolls . How is this fair ?
