So which gem quality changes stand out in 3.23?

Bonehsatter now gives 1% more DMG per Trauma stack. Isnt that huge? People usually reach 100+ stacks.
Since Boneshatter already gives 4% more per trauma it's not a lot. You lose 24% trauma stack generation from loss of helmet enchant and lose the alt quality attack speed. Technically Boneshatter is nerfed a bit. There's probably some decent stuff to be found with quality stacking and Dialla's. I tried to make Arc work but it's still bad as main damage dealer even with a bunch of extra chains.

The Steel skills stand out to me as not having been balanced yet at all. Shattering Steel loses all of its damage for nothing in return except not having to hit call of steel. Splitting Steel gets a damage buff with hit returning projectiles (probably due to returning projectile poison nerf) but you also gain the benefit of never having to hit call of steel. Lancing Steel...MIA not even mentioned lol.
Tornado Shot, because quality is scalable upwards, so 40% qual = +2 seconday proj.

Could be a thing..
Did you try turning it off and on again?
Siege Ballista:
Quality now provides 0-5% increased Attack Speed per maximum Totem, instead of 0-20% increased Projectile Damage.

How about the new curse that spawns phantasms, don't you think that would considerably change the single target scenario for Arc?

There's the opportunity cost of the curse, yes, but unlimited ability to chain against bosses sounds particularly strong to me. Kind of how Hydrosphere interacted for a while with certain projectile attacks.

Or a chieftain who self-ignites while wearing Wilma's Requital + 2x Mokou's Embrace for 196% increased attack speed?

you prob cant get bonus for all 18 totems. mostly it will be for natural limit of totems that is 7 or 8

but if its for all totems then its crazy

if you want to have the ultimate minigun go accuracy stacking iron commander using undeniable and the mastery that gives extra accuracy per point of dex, 30k accuracy equals 200% increased attack speed and they can get well above that.

hierophant is for the meme of having as many totems as posible to benefit from the more damage, life regen and mana regen per summoned totem.

edit: now that i think about it with the new ascendancy charms from the primalist exist the chance a hierophant can get juggernaut increased attack speed per accuracy.

Previous one had:
"
(2-4)% more Damage per Trauma

So additional 1% more to already existing 4% is not a lot. They removed attack speed bonus from Divergent variant:
"
Additional Effects per 1% Quality:
0.05% increased Attack Speed per Trauma

t - trauma stacks
d - DPS without Trauma
D - total DPS

0.02 * t * d = D // with attack speed bonus
0.03 * t * d = D // with MORE bonusm but without attack speed

so it's 50% more DPS per Trauma with the 3.23 changes. You can just add 50% more Damage to the PoB and switch to Superior version of Boneshatter to compare:

This is a buff :-/

We need the full list of Transfigured versions of the gems, so if we have normal gem with such numbers it is definetly buff available right out of the box.
