these changes hurt every single one of my builds, lightning trap golemancer, dark pact necro, explosive concoction ascendant, pyroclast mine saboteur, toxic rain pf. every single one of them looks significantly weaker now after these changes.

Lightnign trap now has 15% to explode twice, instead just some increased lightning dmg. YOu got literally 15% more DMG. How is that nerf?
Pyroclast mine now gets extra projectile instead just some fire damage. How tf is that a nerf?

you apparently don't know anything about alternate gems or anything.
divergent lightning trap with ashes of the stars is the main way to play with that skill, and it's way more damage than 15% more damage, it's like 100% more damage vs bosses. and 15% chance to trigger twice isn't exactly 15% more damage anyway, because we already have the same mod available on passive tree and stuff. considering that ashes is also nerfed, this is a huge nerf to this build
toxic rain duration is not a buff, because you want 10 quality phantasmal toxic rain with anomalous concentrated effect for maximum single target dps. anomalous toxic rain already has extra duration at the moment, and literally nobody uses it. you either use the default quality to be able to reach the aoe threshold required to maximize overlaps, or use phantasmal quality with anomalous concentrated effect for potentially overlapping more than 5 pods at a time. and wither belt enchant being gone is also a significant nerf to this build.
divergent dark pact being gone completely kills that build because it allowed you to keep all minions including AG alive in boss fights, and also allowed your skeletons to survive for much longer, essentially giving you more time to keep casting dark pact while providing QoL for the build
pyroclast mine's helmet enchant already provided an additional projectile, and that worked exceptionally well with phantasmal quality provided you're getting more projectiles from other sources such as dying sun. and the 120% crit boots enchant is gone, which is a huge nerf
and the explosive concoction change is just a meme, because you don't even play that skill with the respective flasks anymore after the 3.21 nerf. ggg seems unaware of this (not surprisingly) and changed the quality to consume less flask charges. this is again an unfortunate nerf to an already underperforming skill gem, because you need a specific amount of aoe on explosive concoction to get 9 overlapping projectiles, and part of that aoe came from the original gem quality, which is difficult to find on unarmed builds

So you are comparing ALTERNATE quality to BASE gems and are complaining that your build is dead? You realie that ALTERNATE quality gems were removed and replaced with new Transfigured gems that you havent even seen yet?

No need for the alt quality cause you can get the returning proj via nimis which is a way higher damage boost anyways cause you don't have to sacrifice a lot to get the gem quality to 100%. there are also better options than ashes for the amulet slot and the new 15% chance to trigger a trap twice is actually pretty good cause it means that you have a 15% chance to deal double damage for each trap (33% with passive points)

you don't need 100 quality or nimis on divergent lightning trap, each projectile has its own return chance.

We aren't getting a single new gem, were getting a system to modify gems that almost certainly nerfs them.
If you want to correct someone at least learn to read.

- conveniently forgets that all of the new gem system requires running endless labs and then corrupts.
