Path of Exile is a fantastic game. This video explores what makes POE great while also delving into a few of its greatest flaws.

Dunno if this video was linked before; I'll put it here.

This is more of a bird's eye view of the game overall and its mechanics - e.g. the campaign, the 2nd half of the video containing a quick verdict on each individual League mechanic in the game based on mechanics.

Also has a guest appearance from Talkative Tri.

considering that it just sounds salty and have lot of things wrong. its ok at best video

The video has no introduction and starts off with "I'm not going to waste your time..." while having 0 structre.

It's just someone rambling for 40+ minutes jumping from complaining, almost crying about the labyrinth to "I started with PoE because D4 is too pricy" and yet he's still unable to use youtube's chapter system properly.

This might as well be an IGN review with how bad it is.

Oh the horrors of budding YT-channels. Well, no one really starts as a quality content creator, and this video would be a learning experience to him I hope

There's a reason why most Youtubers have a script to go through. Helps you organize your thoughts and have at least the semblance of structure

I turned the vid off after one minute, cringing at the presentation.

Criticism is welcome, but if someone rambles for 40+ minutes without an afterthought spent on organizing their thoughts, that's a huge turnoff. Personally, if a longform video has no chapters I'll just not watch because surprise! - time's precious

It's a reference to refer to, for the process of creating something new and better, I'll say that.

Pretty much, though I personally think the one medium that beats a long video divided into chapters is a long written article divided into chapters.

"ctrl+F" for fast navigation, and can read it at your own pace.

game is in a horrible state for new players atm.

at first most people will probably like the depth... until they realize its artificial. huge passive tree and hundreds of skill gem combination and uniques, but in the end it all boils down to using only couple of them... on top of having to no life the game to actually progress your character. no wonder most of the non-poe streamers didnt like it.

feels like broken stuff just piles up and ggg are more interested in pumping new content every 4month instead of actually balancing the game so they can get new players.
