Is Chieftain Better than Pathfinder/Deadeye for Magic Finding?

So in my last post, I talked about how the two primary shortcomings for my Magic Find Caustic Arrow Pathfinder build were:

1) The High Risk vs. Reward Playstyle (i.e. inconsistent, high-value drops)

2) The Low Damage/Survivability

The main reason for my Pathfinder’s low survivability was the difficulty in capping elemental resistances with all of the MF gear (specifically lightning res in my case). And so I had to run a Topaz flask in order to compensate for this lack of resistance. And even then, the build was incredibly squishy (probably also due to my low phy max hit).

However, with the Chieftain Ascendancy passive, capping resistances becomes much easier. On top of that, reaching 90% max ele res is also reasonable as well. So with these factors taken into consideration, would this effectively make Chieftain the better option when making a Magic Find build?
