Is diversity something we can have with a bit of efficiency on the firsts days of a league ?
Hi there.
I came back after some years a few weeks back and after testing some differents strategies in endgame farming, i feel like all of them are built arround doing the same thing over and over which is, in my humble and personal opinion, totaly boring. I feel that is because of the new atlas skill points which is great to personnalize your endgame but tend to push you to repeat the same mechanics for efficiency. Diversity was what hooked me to this game like years ago and i'm asking myself if that's a dead thing. My question is : is it viable not to be specialized in the first days / weeks of a league without struggling with too few currencies on the market because many players are ? I don't care if i do 3 times less currency than some others but i don't want to struggle to get each one of my items even without thinking on min/maxing I currently play standard until the new league so it's not a matter at the time and i can do what I want because standard trade is totaly fu**ed with insane prices and few vendors. But in a new league if i want to be fast and don't pay some items a price too expensive, i'll have to be more efficient. Thus there i am Last edited by Natchoum on Nov 18, 2023, 1:17:28 PM Last bumped on Nov 21, 2023, 4:44:38 PM

farm what you want and like. at the end of the day its all the same shit

that's what i do at the moment, a bit of all except heist which i really don't like. But compared to the profit i have when specialized, it's really less effective in my experience.

" hahaha. I think it's a brilliant answer! I've tried several things. at least as long as my resources last. But at the end of the day, something else counts. therefore:
" at the end of the day what you value more. your ability to have fun and time or farming something you dont like and having bad time. i hate heist. never do if i am not forced with challenge. also dont like delve, blight, breach so i just don't do them and do what i like and have fun with . like expedition or ritual even when i know that rewards a shit compared to heist or other so called farm guides
The eternal dilemma: Just chill and play the game like a normal person and make 3 divines per hour at endgame or focus and make 8-10. Depends on what you want out of the game. I can't bring myself to do anything but chill farm anymore. Life is stressful enough.

1. Farm Crimson Temple for Mageblood and Apothecary div card
2. Farm ubers for specific drop like Original Sin, Nimis, Progenesis 3. Farm league specific content in case it's strong 4. Create MF character with 400+ IIQ and zoom-zoome maps 5. Craft items 6. Flip-flop currenies |

" i take 3 divs having fun in doing over 10 divs doing something i dont like :)
" Certainly working tips if you ignore important real life factors. because what is the end goal? Whoever can do something like that has achieved everything important? or an unpleasant example... I go to work in the EU for a week and buy something like "UF PRO Delta OL Gen.4.0 Winter Jacket". That's about 40 hours invested in the IT area......... but what can i get in poe in 40 hours???????? This farm nonsense is no fun at all and is a complete waste of time... but games are supposed to be fun?!...
" You are not forced to do that. If your goal is to complete some challenges in challenge league you don't need expensive character. Even if you want 40/40 it can be reached on low budget (20-40d) and stretched over 3 months period. So you you have a lot of time for your personal life, job, kids, wife, education, etc. |
