what was special in 2018?
I played it intensively in 2019 and immediately uninstalled it hysterically. Back then I tried to get Jagg to lvl 93. mission impossible lol.

and in 2023 it's still a joke. a loot game with 99% garbage items on the floor? can't be serious. I even run straight to the boss so I can have stuff to exchange and somehow buy upgrades?!?!? It couldn't be more boring.
I needed help with voidstones. a player created so many particles that my fps dropped to 1...... an online game that you have to play solo without a NASA computer? and then also with lag and not with your own host like in warframe? I have ping 0 with solo mode there!

I bet poe1 doesn't get any updates after poe2. so rip for the project?

By the way, player online is more than strange. I bet most of them are half afk for trading online. even Warframe beats it three times. Only there is it actually played in small public teams and they usually don't play for more than 1-2 hours a day. So the players online can easily be multiplied by x10 or even more than x40.

2018 all player dps was nerfed and most HP and damage of bosses were buffed to counter the powercreep.

and why are you still here? I mean you're hysterically uninstalled this game 4 years ago but still come to forums to complain that the game doesn't follow your expectations? just go and play something else. I wouldn't invest a single sentence in a game that i don't play.

By the way don't bore us with your theories, without hard data to back it up, its just idle speculation. warframe is a different game with different goals.

I'd literally buy every overpriced support pack if they re-released 3.13 with every original Harvest, Scourge, Sentinel, Crucible and Ultimatum.

But sadly, it'll never be true.

2018 was around the time that melee had stat sticks and before shaper's life went from 18 million to 75 million along with his damage, and defensive buffs. There was an amazing power creep between then and now, though the price of entry to the end-game skyrocketed over that timeframe. Someone barely invested in the game could very experience what you went through.

(excluding currency that makes it through a very strict filter) I agree that at least 99% of everything that drops in a given map is worthless. This % of course getting larger the further you get into endgame. I would take it to 1/10,000 items are worth the time it takes to pick them up at the point I'm at. I still pick up the jewellery as every once in a while, you get a fracture worth trying to sell. When I press Z to see what's on the ground beneath my filter, my game stutters; there's thousands of items on the ground, every single one of which requires a third party script to not only save me time, but to actually see what the hell's going on. How do they fix that though?

nothing will be fixed anymore. The decisions have been made and they just want to cash in quickly. That's why they use d4 as a role model. Because there were naive players there... and in the end the number of players online fell by 99%? and people bought it after overwatch2 reviews on stream. So sales team only thinks about jackpot and trillions of promises.
So without laughing with tears on your face like in Risitas' videos on YouTube, you can't follow the comedy at all.

and everything can be fixed. understandable loot filter in the game for gambler/crafter npc. and then every garbage is simply converted into currency, automatically picked up with aura and ends up directly in stash. With the gambler/crafter you can get gear with which you can easily farm yellow M16 maps without billions of deaths! only this way!
but now newbies just get rubbish and have to trade complete gear from others???? I only found a ring, belt with 2 jewels. and I could actually buy much better things much quicker.
so just embarrassing! is this a loot game? where newbies only find mischief themselves???

Ten also bought Warframe. They know how to keep players happy for a long time. In Europe, USA, no one will perform primitive 1-2 actions for days and hope for a pack of noodles at the end of the week.

Try Diablo 4 or one of the other ARPGs like Last Epoch or Grim Dawn. I can honestly say Diablo 4 season 2 is a huge improvement and I have been having a lot of fun with it.
