What happened?

By "better" I mean I enjoy playing them much more. Thats it. Thats only thing thats important to me. I dont compare if its more complex, has better graphic, plays more smoothly etc. DO I enjoy playing modern AAA games? No. Do I enjoy playing modern indie/AA games? Yes. Thats why they are better to me.
I wont pretend that there are no good triple A games out there. However, there is way way more good indie/small scale games. Why? Simply because of sheer number of games like that we are getting every year. New Triple A games come out like once a month. Lets say 1 in 10 was good. That gives you 1-2 good game to play a year.
Now lets take indie/small games (those that are usually prices between 5 and 25$). If you check steam, so many of those game come out pretty much every day that even if we keep same ratio - 1 in 10 games being good, I have so many good games to play that I will never find enough time to play them all.
