Once upon a time this Temple had it's best days, before it got half-destroyed by time and cataclysm. Now it is hideout for Exile. Main idea of this place was quoted above. He named her Arohongui and took her to his keep, where he protected her, learned to fight and passed her all the knowledge he posessed.  Name of hideout: The Gift Karui God: Ramako, Father of light Category: Premium Base: Timekeepers Hideout Description: The Karui God Ramako was once cursed by an unknown powerful being, banished away to a dull, uninhabatable, far way island. His body, once made of flesh and surging energy and power, now turned to stone and buried beneath the harsh environment of the island. Although over time the environment washed away to reveal the gods face and hands, from which, inside his stone prison Ramako gave life and light to the island. His gift still lives on to this day and the stone prison, now empty, serves as a reminder to all who see the island. Photos

   Rite of Spring - Submission for the Premium Category, Cartographer's base. This is a tribute to Tawhoa, God of the Forest. Reading through Maata's dialogue, I couldn't help but notice that the essence of the forest is not just nature, birds and leaves; it's the cycle of life. Birth, Death and rebirth. One of Kitava's blasphemys was actually eating the birds Tawhoa sacrificed in celebration. So what better way to portray Tawhoa than a forest temple with a sacrificial altar? I chose to be inspired by various ideas, but what made this hideout eventually was Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. A play about young girls choosing to dance and be sacrificed in the heat of spring, as a symbol of acceptance towards the cycle of life and its inevitability. The map device room is intentionally shaped like a Maori tiki I have tattooed on my arm sleeve. Download link is here. Video Showcase! NAME OF HIDEOUT: Hinekora's Haven
KARUI GOD(S): Hinekora, Mother of Death with visual hints from Tawhoa, Father of the Forest CATEGORY: Natural BASE: Celestial Hideout A memory of the past, where Hinekora follows a path collecting the seeds of the fallen whilst deliberating on a troubled vision of what's to come - the slumber of the Gods. Tawhoa took notice of Hinekora that day, and with the knowledge that inner peace can only be attained by accepting that life and death are inevitable, he chose to gift Hinekora the ability to dream. In the dream realm, Hinekora continues her communications with Navali, who aids Hinekora in the passing of the Karui souls to the Halls of the Dead. This scene depicts an abstract vision in the dream realm atop an old oak tree, where Hinekora rests in a deep slumber prior to her awakening, with Navali at her service.
