This sorta bugs me as well since I'm making a game mod. I usually rather wait till I finished all the assets for that specific unit/item before releasing it half-done. In PoE's Case its more like using basic Weapon Art as "Placeholders" I remember getting some cool uniques months before and found out it only used the basic Models of that Armor Type.
