Anyway, the trading here has never been worse in my time in PoE. Today I must have asked like 100 ppl to trade (no discount or bs), and maybe 3-4 has actually taking time to sell me what I asked.

We are all busy in Hall of dead I guess.

The problem is the ancient traidingsystem GGG runs, we shouldnt have to disturp others if we want their stuff. But surely this has been mentioned many time before..

Apparently you can trade in the Halls of the Dead. Or at least in the foyer.
You’re being quite rude to them so don’t be surprised that their response is angry.

You message them with an offer that meets their asking price. They portal out and invite you to the party. You then explain you can’t actually pay what you offered and that they’re wasting their time on you. How do you expect people to react to that?

I wouldn’t curse you out if I were in their position but I certainly wouldn’t be happy about it either.

come to think of it, I have an idea for new trading interface:

no human interaction needed,
seller just post their items in trade with desired duration(2hrs-2days),
all prospect buyers just offer away on the item(offer price will be locked-in during posting)
seller can accept an offer anytime or let it expire, either case all bids except the winning one will be refunded to bidders.
GGG can also add QoL stuff like b/o option as well.

Does that generic, no human interaction, one click trade system have the possibility of haggling?
I love haggling!
