Content Update 3.22.0 -- Path of Exile: Trial of the Ancestors
Usualy iam all excited about the new league...
But this patch notes made me sad, i should not have read them. Stale meta. No (absolute insignificant) gem changes. Way to mutch focus on the map content instead of making new and exiting builds possible. Way to specialised new support gems, that, for the most part, barely will be used. Melee still dead. Non crit still dead. Poison still op. Chieftain is even more all over the place now than before. Ascendant chieftain route is just straigt up 10% strenth and two useless effects. Guardian is very meh. I mean, the most exciting read in this patch notes is, that monsters do not regenerate while untargetable anymore. Thats was the only time where i thougth "OH! thats nice!". Anything else is just dissapointing. League content itself maybe saves this, but the soccer manangment style does not make me looking farward to this. IGN: Toxic_Artillery

Hey, I have a question regarding this :
>> The "Totems Taunt Enemies around them for 1 second when Summoned" Totem Mastery has been replaced with "1% of Physical Attack Damage dealt by your Totems is Leeched to you as Life." What if I'm using shockwave totems and I convert 100% of physical damage to cold ? Does it retain the "physical" tag and will my totems leech life back to me ? |
|
" It will retain the physical tag, but it will not leech life to you, since it is not dealing physical damage. Also, it's a spell, not an attack. Last edited by Cybersnip#0532 on Aug 12, 2023, 11:25:38 AM

Controlled Blaze: Supports melee attack skills, providing them with a chance to Ignite. For each Ignite inflicted with the Skill recently, it deals less Damage but more Ignite Damage.
can we get more information about this support gem? "For each Ignite inflicted with the Skill recently" - is this telling me to stack "less duration" and "ignite deals damage faster"? and you match the attack speed with the ignite duration, so if your ignite duration is .5 and you get increased ignite damage per ignite inflicted recently that would mean you could ignite an enemy 8 times in the past 4 seconds..? or can i just stack attack speed and have infinite ignites on an enemy relative to my attack speed over 4 seconds? and its going to ramp the highest damage ignite that was inflicted? we need some numbers and a skill gem release or a video explaining how it works? would love to league start an ignite attack build but without the information its impossible to make any sort of plan. EDIT: or is it a clear skill. like, "each ignite inflicted recently" is say i jump into a pack of 10 monsters, and ignite each one, then thats 10 ignites inflicted recently, and the single target use of this support gem is basically trash? hahah more of ruthless patch then actual game patch

"Shockwave totems are spell, not attack Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit.

Does Overloaded Circuits avoid rolling atlas notables that you already have allocated?
|
|
" Ohhh, that makes sense. Glad i asked, thanks for clarifying. |
|
" it's for attacks only. and even if it wasn't for attacks only, it wouldn't leech, because they'd be dealing only cold |
|
Could anyone please provide a clarification, what means that "Hidden Blade has no cooldown"? Procs are bound to attack speed?
