Failed to decompress (corrupted data)

Same problem here. Never got an error like this last league, and now my client crashes as soon as I load a zone. Haven't even had time to click to get up in the Twilight Strand. There was no immediate crash when I tried briefly on Standard. I tried validating the game files on Steam and some do indeed fail verification and get reacquired, but then it's the same thing all over again when I load a league character.

Same error here...

Tried clearing game cache and same error (and it was a different seed/map version as well and still same "corrupted" error popup).

Appears to have resolved issue (PackCheck fixes).

Spoke too soon - no sooner did that seem to resolve my corruption error issue now I get crashes when being inside the new challenge instances..

The crashes have stabilized somewhat - it is "better" than before.

My experience with this release/season/challenge league has not been a good one.

I've tried windows 8, deleting shader caches, changing to vulkan/d11/d12, admin, disable full screen optimizations, custom power plan, reinstalling and verifying. If anyone else has any ideas on how to resolve this I would be grateful. I don't get a lot of time to play POE and I really wanna play this weekend lol.

If you haven't yet tried it and you are using the stand-alone version of the client do a "PackCheck.exe" in the POE game location folder - I did that and it solved it for me.

I finally reached maps, now I am stuck in a load screen till this error occurs. I can play other characters, but I dont want to start again and risking it not functioning again...

3rd post on this thread in 4 months... still not fucking solved !!!
so this league is worse than previous, 30 disconnections each act... i spend more time to chek how to solve it instead of playing...

it is literaly unprofessional to be ghosted like this by dev or CM.
May be stop playing poe until this won't be fixed

Today came my new PC

Installed the game, played it and suddenly there came "File decompress" Error.
CheckPack said it repaired all and everything.
Checkpack said that 5 times in a row because nothing was repaired!!!!
Checkpack then said, cannot repair anything anymore, i should delete content.ggpk
Worst i ever did: i deleted 38 GB off my PC AND redownloaded it ( lasts 2 hours, every time)
After that, i played, then came again error.
Checkpack ruled.
Could play incredibly long: 3 hours!
then: Decompress Error.
Checkpack tells me now: Delete content.ggpk or nothing will work.
I do not want to do that once again without hope to get an improvement!!!!
