An Orb of Chance is now much more likely to create common Unique items and less likely to generate uncommon or rare Unique items.
Thats it , now I will never get Kaoms Heart due chances.

It increases the elemental resistances of your minions. Maybe it should have been called "Minion" Elemental Resist. Hmm.


Sad... I thought it summoned a minion which gives +res as an aura...

So now with 341 rarity i would see 1,5 unique drops in 20 runs instead of 1 unique drop?

Probably because these "special" uniques are currently being created at an alarming rate via chancing, because of their unadjusted %probability, as well as people INTENTIONALLY sinking all their chances into these base items trying to get them.

The suppressed %probability for uncommon unique item is to offset the overwhelming preference of using chance orbs by players.

This sounds like it's going to be my personal favourite patch since open beta. :)
