0.10.7 Patch Notes

The map mod quantity balancing seems good, but these new item mods stand out as rather useless.
"
Added new Item Mods - "of the Worthy" and "of the Apt": Reduced attribute requirements to equip an item.
Added new Item Mods - "of Shining", "of Light" and "of Radiance": Increased accuracy and light radius.
Can these at least be restricted to below a certain itemlevel or something? Someone with a character doing maps wouldn't want any of these rolls on their items.

Is the intent to devalue high end orbs? There must be a better way than simply making all crafting worse, as there are already plenty of modifiers that do little or nothing for your one specific character build.

Good job on the art/visual updates. I like the 3d models for uniques, and the update to the terraces from a previous patch was excellent.

Any word on fixing the voice glitch caused by this patch?

Whew. Okay, I'm done ranting now.

Ok, Not gonna quote the entire post, but this makes 100% sense, I was finally gonna make a melee build because of MS+LS, that got 100% ruined because of the 'Nerf'. I'm for some reason in a staged in this game where its like "Do one of the 6 builds, or become underpowered". And I hate this! I don't want to do a Dual Totem, LA, RoA, RF builds. Sure, I could do melee, but where in the world would I get for farming?! Sure, I could do melee, and deal no damage and fall down every minute or so, but where is the fun in that?? It is about time that we either A) Got some viable supports to make Melee compare to Ranged(Starting with un'Nerf'ing MS), B) Give us some new melee skills in general that would be viable. Im starting to get turned away from this game because of limited build possibilities, the same 6 or so builds over and over again is starting to get really damn old. Think its time for me to take a break until something gets added, fixed, or just stop overall.

so what you're saying is you're too afraid to drop some survivability for more dmg, but you still want to complain about doing less dmg.
if you don't see melee splash / multistrike as a huge BUFF to survivabilty you've completely missed the boat on the skills. because they're massive improvements with the huge jump in leech/LoH.
I hear you saying you want to play "melee" but all you really want to do is sit back and spam LS and have it be godly. why are you playing "Melee" then??
Yay, full mouse support is something ive been waiting for since closed beta

I am melee. I do loads of AoE damage. I have loads of IIQ/IIR. Check my pages for my gear/gems/passive.

Stop complaining about melee sucking and just build a good melee.

I am Melee I do loads of AOE damage ...i dont think you know what melee means ??

Perhaps you don't know what AoE means? Cleave, Ground Slam, Cyclone, etc., are all both melee and area of effect.

Custom for ALL Uniques, it's just lazy NOT to.
Hail Thor-show thy might, Let thunder roar and lightning strike! Hurl thy hammer into the fray, And let thine enemies know fear this day!

ok so what you are saying that killing mobs with ranged damage is melee?

No, I'm saying none of that is ranged. It's damage dealt, from melee range, to multiple monsters at a time. That is what AoE means. It is not a synonym for ranged.

Are you defining "melee" as "only hits one target?" Because that's not what it means.
