Choose a build that you think is fun, get to maps, learn how mapping works, learn the league mechanic, learn 1 past league mechanics you like. Repeat this step a couple of leagues and you will definitely learn the game and also have a lot of fun. |

" Just a new campaign... with new classes, twice the amount of ascendancies, better graphics and animations, new weapons, new gems (and gem socket system) and who knows what else they have in store (possibly a trading hub and/or a proper ingame loot filter). I don't want to imagine the balancing nightmare they currently have to go through when doubling the ascendancies. They have to go over so many factors, not just the obvious stuff like reworking items like the hungry loop ring with gems also having multiple sockets now and then actually making like a 10-link ring. I mean... That's mostly just expansion content you listed. Granted, PoE "2" will be the biggest expansion to date but it's still just that.

PoE already has a ton of ascendancies and still only 3-4 dominate the meta of a given league. Doubling the pool will temporarily give people a lot of builds to explore but it'll settle back down by 4.1 Also, many people have been asking for alternate ways to level outside of the campaign. I'm not convinced a new alternate campaign is even worth the development time. I'm sure it'll be fine while it's novel but players will be looking to get new characters into the endgame asap-which could even mean sticking with the old 10 acts if they're faster. I'm excited for PoE2 but we're back to business as usual after 1 league. |

I dont mind PoE2, but to be honest with these league delays, I dont need PoE2, just bring back the 3 month leagues! And I wont be surprised if nothing really changes in new league, still 99% of skills will be dead, 70% of ascend classes will be dead and melee will be dead. " agree 100%. i dont really care about poe2. i would prefer more effort go into current poe,high quality 3 month leagues that dont get abandoned by ggg after week 1 or 2.
