Kinetic bolt interaction in a conversion build?
Okey I'm pretty positive you simply do not understand how damage modifiers in this game work.
Your kinetic bolt is an attack that does physical damage, so modifiers that apply to it are any and all "attack damage" and "physical damage" modifers. Then the Kinetic bolt causes "increased/reduced spell damage" to apply when it normally wouldn't, since it's an attack not a spell. Now if you convert all(100%) of that physical damage into cold damage for example, then that cause any and all "cold damage" and "elemental damage" modifiers to apply. So if you have lets say: 100 base physical damage 100% increased physical damage 100% increased attack damage 50% increased spell damage 100% increased cold damage 100% increased elemental damage (yes i know those numbers are totally unrealistic, I'm just making the math easy for myself) then you final damage is 100x[1(base damage) + 1(inc phys) + 1(inc att) + 1(inc spellx2) + 1(inc cold) + 1(inc elem)] = 100x6 = 600 cold damage Also yes I'm intentionally ignoring reduced and also more/less modifiers "An it harm none, do what you will" Last edited by Torguemada#3020 on Apr 11, 2023, 9:11:11 AM
