Chaos Vs Divine pricing on your official in house trade site is wrong
edit: this has been moved to a discussion forum for some reason. i didnt post this in a discussion forum, theres nothing here to discuss among players. this is a fault in the trade system the devs need to fix, it has nothing to do with a forum discussion so i dunno why its been put in here.
ok so if you look on standard league and try to buy a divine orb its 186 chaos minimum. but, if you list an item for 150 chaos, and another item for a divine, in a search for those items that is in price order the item for 1 divine will show up before the 150 chaos item, as if its cheaper. the prices on items on a search are like... 95 chaos 99 chaos 100 chaos 110 chaos 1 divine 1 divine 150 chaos 160 chaos 200 chaos 2 divines why is it like this? if i try and reduce the price of my items that are listed at 1 divine, and i knock 26 chaos off the price to bring them down to 150 chaos, suddenly my items are listed behind items priced at 1 divine as if they are more expensive. it may not seem like a big deal but it sort of is, the trade site needs to understand the price of a divine, theyve been over 180 chaos now for ages, weeks and weeks and weeks, months maybe, can we get the math behind the scenes adjusted to reflect actual exchange rates? cheers :) edit: the pricing on exalted orbs vs chaos is wayyyyy off too. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :) Last edited by Snorkle_uk#0761 on Feb 1, 2023, 6:33:19 PM Last bumped on Feb 2, 2023, 1:30:41 PM

this isn't a bug.
the ratios are not updated every minute, hourly or even weekly. GGG adjusts it to the current rates on occasion and when they do that you will notice as sorting will be off for a couple days as things get updated automatically. |

well they need to get on it then, because its been wrong for over a month.
if theyre not gonna make an automated process to observe the values listed in the currency trades for trading small currency up to bigger currency and modify the values automatically and theyre going to insist on doing it manually then they need to be doing this on a weekly basis. right now they think a divine is worth less than 150 chaos, and its actually about 187 and has been for over a month now. this is a game designed around a trade economy according to the devs. leaving prices listing wrong on your trade system for over a month isnt really ok. That could explain why people use "0.x" divine price instead of chaos price.
Is this a bug only in standard? |
