[3.20] SideFX Crit Impending Doom!- This build is kinda nutty
Hi, I am level 70 into the build, I love it so far. BUT when I allocate unholy authority in the ascendency tree, the curses take forever to dissipate and the explosions happen with a much longer delay. I have all the gear copied except for the awakened spell cascade which i need to be level 72 to use the level 1 version. Why is that the case? I still do good damage but id image with an extra curse itd be way better.
I just don't know why it takes longer to explode after I allocated it to unholy authority.
" Your impending doom gem is only 17% Quality. You need 20% quality for 100% less duration. |
|
Thank you! It works now! I feel silly for over looking quality.
Now, is there a way to make this build tankier??? anyway to get 100% spell suppress or fortification? I'm new to the league, I just like tankier builds so I don't die as much. Thank you
Can you please edit this build so that we can get 100% spell suppress chance? It is brutal to play using this build in juiced maps with delirium
Literally impossible finish a juiced crimson temple, 4 gilded scarabs, fully rolled sextants and using eater of world altars. I always die to some abyss monster, harbinger, or some bs related to delirium. I get it that you have 6 tries to complete a map, but this build cannot do that. My champion discharge build can clear it smoothly. Maybe I just can't compare this to another build? Idk. Please, this is like the 3rd build I tried to run juiced crimson temples and it just cannot stand its ground. You got like 6+ years on this game, this is my first league. SO damn misleading
Hello Again! And once again i came here with most likely stupid question, but can any of Unique items be crafted by Orb of Chance? Yes, i know chances are mostly non existant...

" damn? it has wiki, thx! gonna check it, and damn! Among all that info you can actually see "cannot be chanced". Item Acquisition ftw!
Hello,
I am just posting to let you know that I appreciate this build. I'm still a newbie on this game and still learning the ropes but bombing enemies is hella fun, especially that explossion sound when Impending Doom triggers. 10/10 Since I'm still at level 49 and I did a bunch of tweaking because I don't have the necessary items yet to follow your build to the Z. And I messed up the build for putting Whispers of Doom, with zero knowledge that I need 0 duration on hexes. Nevertheless, I figured that putting Cursed Ground along with Impending Doom and Despair instantly triggers the detonation because the duration of Despair becomes 0 when the enemies are out of the field. Pressing the skill again removes the current field that you previously put in therefore detonating the hex. This idea can be amplified when you have Spell Cascade support because the Cursed Ground can only put a single field at a time, therefore Spell Cascade will attempt to put 3 fields, any enemies caught on the fields will be blasted twice. I am just sharing my input on what I did to make a poor man's build while I gather up the necessary items as you prescribed. Cheers.
Hey SideFX,
Loved this build so much that I am trying to do it. I got to level 38 and just socketed all the skills but I can barely kill anything. I don't have any of the right gear and my gems aren't all at 20%. Do you have any advice? Maybe I should stick with orb of storms and minions until it levels up a bit more and gets a bit stronger? If you have a minute, it's my "allhavesinned" witch :p. Thanks! Goldtru
You will at least need the Vixen's Entrapment gloves to convert to Impending Doom.
Just socket the rest of curses in the gloves and there's a silly interaction where if the amount of curses applied is highier than your max it will override the last curse. The override part is important here as it basically forces Despair (main curse supported by impending doom) to end early and explode even without anomalous impending doom. Hope that helps even if it's a little late :3 |
