im having the same problem here, i have to play on the dalas server with 200ms, and it its better than the Sao Paulo.

I'm having to pay for ExitLag while GGG doesn't host in IPv6, unfortunately

I'm having the same problem here.
The way is to pay for a ping reducer.
Same, here. Idk waht to do anymore. I dont want to pay for VPN to play

I know what that feeling is like.

The alternative is, if not hiring an ExitLag;
Change ISP, but eventually the problem may return.
Or GGG host in IPv6.

I would really like this more technical discussion to be more popular, I've never seen Devs talking about this, if they have, please send me the link.

Yes, problem still persists and GGG doesn't care a bit about it... Wait and see POE2 having the same issue.

8 months and the problem still exists every day 24/7.

All instances that start with IP "163." make the connection leave my country and then come back, and then they come back with +130ms as I explained in the first message of this thread.

The problem started happening between the dates 10/27/22 and 10/30/22.
I know this because all instances in "Client.txt" with IPs starting with "163." were 35ms max before 10/27/22 and after 10/30/22 all were above 130ms+.

Why host on V6 if few people have problem, right GGG?

Welcome to the team everyone .... PAIN

GGG, you are more grubby than Blizzard.

Please never ever tell anything negative about Blizzard again.

Sure they make shit games, but you are the same.

Thanks.
UPDATE: Solved
I posted this problem on reddit/InternetBrasil
https://www.reddit.com/r/InternetBrasil/comments/19ckrwo/cgnat_da_oi_fibra_%C3%A9_problem%C3%A1tico_e_ignorado/
Ayub (Senior Peering Engineer) read and analyzed it.

Behold, a contact of his from Oi Fibra ISP who follows him on social media solved the problem. (The funny thing is that the problem was solved because the guy follows reddit and Auyb, not because of my internal calls for 6 months talking to Oi Fibra ISP about the problem, that's the craziest thing)

So we at Oi Fibra ISP will no longer have our connection going outside the country when connecting to instances that start with 163. in São Paulo.

Thanks to the spotlight that Ayub put on this post, the problem was solved.

But yes, if GGG hosted in IPv6 none of this would have happened.
Another thing, didn't GGG's network administrators notice that players from the top 3 internet providers in Brazil have high latency in instances that start with 163. even with the server in the country itself?
Does GGG not have monitoring?
GGG's network administrators can't run zabbix, smokeping, can't anyone control performance statistics?

All of this that I did wouldn't need to be done, because a manufacturer of an online solution has to have the minimum decency of having performance metrics for their solution.
And since latency is a big metric, not only for the web, but for games, FOR GAMES, GGG should eat latency for meals, they should know as much about latency as they know how to make this game good.

Like, X percent of our players in Y country have high latency on our servers located in Y country. That's it.
If this alert were triggered, GGG should contact the administrator of the datacenter where the problem was triggered (In my case IBM-Networklayer) and say: "look, there is weird latency for my players, take the list of my instances" - Do exactly what I did in this thread - with this, the datacenter/IBM would have everything in their hands to reach the ISP and say that their BGP has the wrong link, because now there are 2 large companies fighting, not a mere weakened player who wants to play with a decent ping at home, the problem would be solved.

Now imagine other problems that must exist out there that players who don't have technical knowledge are going through, will never be solved.

GGG, will PoE 2 host with IPv6?

Do GGG DEVs know how to program in IPv6 to migrate the game to v6 and leave the protocol called IPv4, which has been obsolete for over 12 years?

I don't believe they will launch PoE2 on the protocol that has been obsolete for over 12 years.
