I just listen to my foobar playlist (switched from Winamp, no more lama ass-whipping) which is kinda a mess of all types of genres on shuffle. So whenever i don't like the current song i just skip to the next and might get something that better fits my mood :>

So i may start with some relaxing tunes from Artists like GorillaZ (like Empire Ants|Andromeda)
followed by Smooth Operator by Sade (soul/jazz/pop type music)

or Bôa - Duvet (alt. rock)

going into Deftones (Rosemary|Be quiet and drive)
(Nu metal, alt. rock/metal)

then maybe S.O.A.D with Lonely Day|Holy Mountains
(prog metal, rock)

or some OST like Let the Stars fall down|The Legend from Fate/Zero by Yuki Kajiura

maybe some Lorn with Cherry Moon|Acid Rain or Weigh me down (experimental, IDM, Industrial, Darksynth)

Also I might not have every genre correct for every artist, so be it, you can correct me if you care. I just thought it would be easier to differentiate artists by putting their genres next to them, though genres are broad and not every artist is specifically bound to one genre or fits into any category.
