"Damage taken recouped as life"
Does anybody know how this mod works exactly? Is there a penalty on it, or diminishing returns?
If I had say 50% of damage taken recouped as life, is that an effective 50% damage reduction or do you only get some smaller percentage of that back? Last bumped on Nov 3, 2022, 8:12:36 AM

You take 100% of damage, then some percentage of this damage taken from hits is recovered as life over 4 seconds.

" Yes, of course. My question was, what percentage of the damage taken is recouped as life? Because if it's 100%, then a person could just get 100% damage taken recouped and be quite tanky. its whatever the item says. there is no diminishing returns.
Stasis Prison (the unique chest) has "80-100% of damage taken recouped as life" But, again, its OVER 4 SECONDS if you take 10k damage in a single hit, you're DEAD. doesnt matter how much recoup % you have. DEAD is DEAD. it doesnt give you more EHP. it gives you recovery. which is good, sure, but it does not save you from being bursted down in half a second. |

To add to the above, recoup over 4 seconds also means that whatever % you have for recoup is bascially cut in 4 pieces. So if you take 10k damage per second and have 100% recoup you'll only recoup 2,5k per second and die pretty fast. Theoretically you could push recoup to 400% of damage taken that way you should become basically immune to everything that's not a oneshot or a dot as you recoup 100% of damage taken every second. Not sure if that's even possible though, and even if it is, the investment won't leave much room for damage.
