" If you want tankyness then yes the 3.20 Coil+Berserk is unbeatable. But in 3.21 we can get access to 100% projectile return which will instantly double our whole damage that we have in PoB. The Power Siphon projectiles fire in a sequence. Each one will double hit unless the target moves a bunch. Another technique that we can use for bossing is this one: Thanks to overcharge with the Static Blows cluster with a second lightning mastery for +15% shock effect 65% would be possible on any boss. For ubers we would get around 50% shock, so the mastery would have to be changed. But since you asked. Here are the best PoBs from 3.20 that I have found. Neither of those has access to 100% return, 8 totems or the new elemental mastery for 25% more damage. " Are you sure that is the case for Barrage Support aswell which we use? The projectiles are fired in a sequence individually. I am not talking GMP/LMP etc. That would be a massive bummer if that would be the case. We have 14 Projectiles on Power Siphon. From what I read up until now the problem before 3.21 was that piercing projectiles on a boss just never returned in the first place. In 3.21 they always will if they hit nothing. But I may see a problem now. If they return from the boss directly. They will not pass through the boss again unless they pierce and fly for a certain amount. My hope is that barrage support would do the same for Power Siphon. But the video posted one quite important point in the comments that relates to Sniper's Mark and the arrow split. First I have no idea if those split projectiles could return. That would be crazy. If split comes before pierce it might be bad using Sniper's Mark in first place. Then we would need to rely on other mark skills. There is a lot stuff to test 3.21 and currently I hope that barrage support works the way I think it will. It might not though. :) My problem is that I cannot test this today before league start but I should be able to test it in the next days on standard after 3.21. I don't know how it can be treated wrong, but wiki clearly said:
" It is not related to pierce/fork/split, etc. It is related to skill usage. Barrage support modifies the main skill so one shot(one skill usage) fires multiple projectiles, there is no difference between GMP/LMP(it also fires multiple projectiles per shot). So, one usage of skill produces multiple projectiles. So split from the sniper's mark does nothing to return logic, it is still a projectiles from one skill usage. I think the only way it can work is a bug in the interaction between totems and barrage support. Of course, it should be tested, but be ready that it works as described in wiki. im doing t4-5 maps atm with a few chaos gear ( like 40 i think)
but i dont know which gem setup i should use in the pob you link kinetic blast with added lightning, ballista , inc crit damage and GMP , is it enough to do all maps including t16? on this pob https://pobb.in/nG4AvQRyhfsq i see KB at 270k dps with 7 totems, it seems really low ? what would you recommend to use at 6 L with KB for 'map grinding' ? thanks ! |
