How to empower towers?

Hi there... Can someone please tell me how to empower the towers in blights? Everything I can find is about why empowered towers are so great, what they do, how ring annointments support them, but nowhere is explained how the hell I can empower them in the first place...

Tier 1-3 of the green towers are the empowering towers that empower other towers in range. Tier 4 (where you can make a choice) does not empower towers in range.

Ahhh, ok... So does one green tower empower another one in range continuously from 1-4 over time, or do I have to activate 3 green ones around,say a fire tower to push it to lev 4, since a single green gives a single other one level only?

The green tower will empower any towers in it's range.
Empowering towers do not raise the level of towers in range, just "improves the effectiveness" of those towers.
Multiple Green towers will have no effect on the same tower.

A hint, do not level them beyond tier 3.

Lol... Thanks again, but now I'm more confused than before. So empowering a tower with the green tower is something different than giving them a higher tier??? Then my original question should have been "how to make towers a higher tier???

When you level a tower (i.e. flame tower) you take it from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and so on.
The Green Empower tower boosts these other towers.

Important to note that empowering towers need line of sight towards other towers in range to affect them. This makes a difference in many indoor blighted maps.

If it isn't done by the green towers, then how? It is obviously so obvious for everyone (except me lol) that I couldn't find an explanation anywhere. So let me ask again: How do I make my towers tier 2,3 and 4??

Leveling towers has nothing to do with empowering them. When you kill blighted mobs, you gain build points, shown in the bottom center of screen. When you have enough points to upgrade a tower, upgrade UI will appear over every suitable tower you have built. Idk what could be hard to understand here.

Every tower can have build tiers, and at each tier it can also be empowered automatically if empowering tower is in range and line of sight.

I never noticed that in a blighted map there's a build-point counter on the screen, I guess i was so busy keeping the mobs in check that I simply overlooked it, now I know what to look for...
