Following up on Recent Feedback

y'all left in fracture - which was strong enough to justify gating it behind RNG so bad that I've only seen it on my own plots twice in the last year of playing - then buffed it and made it cheaper, but really are out here expecting me to believe jewel implicits, a craft so common that you could easily have long stretches where every harvest you did spawned multiple copies of it, somehow break the game by being available via lifeforce

sure, jan

y'all really are just completely out of touch with what playing this game actually is like, huh

The biggest problem with Harvest crafting is that it is not fun now. It was originally a lottery mode, and there may be surprises every time, but after you change to collect energy, the essence has changed, and I will not feel happy because of a little more energy.
In my eyes, your change is just because it is convenient for engineers to make, and you don't care about the fun that players need.
Don't make excuses, you just don't want to fix it now because it's too much trouble.
If that's what you want, fine, I'll hold on until the moment I can't take it any more, and leave.
discussing this and that but the historic bonus wont return..

a bunch of words that says nothing pretty much..
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words.

Retired since crucible.(Not a free tester anymore for a multi billion dollar company).
Harvest craft is very underwhelming, this is my opinion.

I know my opinion doesn't matter and will not be heard, but at least it's an honest one.

We are also aware that there is a lot of disappointment around certain Harvest Crafts being removed. Previously, Harvest Crafting was balanced by how difficult it was to get the crafts that you want. Now that crafts are tradeable, Harvest's power was reduced to be more in line with other crafting methods. We understand that there is a call for us to bring those crafts back but it isn't really possible while allowing Harvest to remain tradeable.

While this isn't exactly what you want to hear, I can say that this issue was pushed very hard during discussions to see if any compromise could be made. Harvest's crafting potential without being gated by rarity is just too high.

This is total and utter rot. Those crafts were always tradeable with a third party website, a situation you let go on for several leagues.
Even with the missing harvest crafts crafting a decent item is still terribly difficult. Divines hardly grow on trees. Lifeforce takes a while to farm. All you have done is totally ruined crafting. The costs involved now are astronomical meaning you have literally gated SSF players out of crafting near completely. Of course it won't affect the top 1% or so as they will have the currency to make their wildest dreams come true or almost true but the more casual players, those with a couple of hours per day rather than 12+ hours per day are just like the SSF guys now. They will never find the currency needed to continually craft metamods in the hope they get good rolls on their craft.

You are simply freezing a large part of the community out of crafting items. TFT is still alive and well for everything but harvest crafting. You can still buy hundreds of fossils, resonators, essences, beasts and so on. You can even buy cullers for your lucky loot goblins, another lame decision you made.

Harvest was a great league then in a panic you removed it, which gave us a couple of rubbish leagues before bringing it back in 3.13 which really was probably the best state POE has ever been in. It took a year and 4 leagues for POE to start feeling good again and then only because of TFT allowing us to buy and sell crafts. Now again you've panicked and come up with such a terrible league and game situation that you've had the worst player retention ever.

When will you learn?
disappointing
^ this, this is what we need, voting.
i dont wanna be an alpha/beta tester every league for 2 or 3 weeks before the league is playable, at this point i d rather start the leagues 3 weeks later.

Why Harvest was not just made an Item drop like an Incubator that can be used on an Item is beyond me. They would be just as rare and tradeable. You talk about old Harvest like it was not Traded and it VERY much was.

Its actually kind of shocking how many things have been botched in the last few leagues. Yes you are only a few 100 people but really some of these things are so simple.

As for this leagues loot. So the Lake mist loot is all garbage. I have not had ONE item come off the mist that was usable. Why was it not that EVERY mist was where I can put in an item? That would be much more like last leagues.

My favorite one so in the last few years was Scourge because I got to pick the items and it was crafting from the start. Made for great builds too. Was a great League.

The Mist should be ALWAYS were we drop an item in. Would make use for all the trash we just delete to the vender.

Kinda sad the dev-team (hello anti-fun persons) is still stuck with a 2000's competitive mindset. Your players want more fun crafting, better drops but you are hell bent on "You only get to play one character the entire league", close your eyes for crafting, goblin loot explosions, hell at this state older ARPG's have a better loot system than you do. Enjoy player retaliation if you are still bent on keeping it like this, I do hope you change your mind though.

great point!

with all the ascendancies to choose from, I'd love to try multiple builds instead of investing everything into a proven cookiecutter or meta-leveraging one. i miss the days when getting a unique that had a weird mechanic was a fun challenge I could get creative with. These days, it's "L33t or give up" and it just feels so ironic that GGG seems to WANT players to NOT be able to engage in all content instead of trying to engage all content but with different creative approaches.

Even top tier streamers who Rush Sirus in a day end up creating a dozen builds in a league. If the game is fun enough to play on its own merit, no one wants to stop even after they've "beaten" it. I always loved PoE's re-playability and neverending grind, but lately, it feels like just one very long, very tedious, very obnoxious first leg of a grind.
