An Overview of Upcoming Changes

So POE came to live because of frustration with Diablo.
I wonder what kind of gem will come up from POE frustration.

Anyway, POE has been dying for some time now. Looking for new game... a fun game, not a second job, not a encyplopedia of items I have to know by memory to enjoy this.

I simply want to kill mobs, get loot and play with friends.

POE simply became too complex, way unbalanced and unfriendly. Instead of fixing it, try to reinvent it from scratch. PoE 2.0? How long we have to wait?
Well Im just going to throw you a straight ball...

The game forces you to play a handful... WAit let me rephrase that a few skills that you can count with one hand when there are like hundreds of skills, because only a few are viable.

Rare mobs that is way way way harder than uber bosses and if you are unlucky enough is impossible to kill on some builds, that can spawn randomly by chance on any maps and some mechanics potentially screwing your investments over. If you actually kill it, it literally dropping nothing unless you hit the jackpot (getting specific Archnem mods).

Not having enough currencies or methods to craft your own progression on a league starter. I actually had my first character reach yellow maps before I ran outta basic currencies and maps, decided to forget about the league and tried playing something I enjoy... a melee character. But this league is dropping so little currencies that I almost ran outta blacksmith whetstones while in acts on my SECOND character (if this isnt a HUGE red flag idk what is).

The community been trying to reach out to GGG for many leagues now about ArchNem, the limited number of viable skills, and how utterly unplayable melee is right now. And all we are getting is shadow nerfs a spit in the face buff to loots after the 90% nerf (either that or you think we cant do simple math) and playing the if we dont talk about it they might forget game?

Does any of this actually sounds like fun? I see Chris has the time to poke jokes at Diablo Immortal but dont have the time to actually play his own game before launch?

I tend to agree with you.

Never been a fan of TFT at all and never used it, even back in Harvest.

I find it absolutely ironic that GGG made all these changes to Harvest (and I had not played since Expedition, so it was not that bad back then) to limit the use of TFT and make Lifeforce tradeable in game finally, only to create another instance where one 'needs' to go on TFT for yet another service.

The only 'third party' tools I use are PoE Awakened for price checking, POE Overlay for quick access to my hideout/fast whisper-invites-trade-leave party buttons and Exilence to have an overview of the wealth in my stash I may not realize I have.

Of course, I also use my web browser for Craft of Exile, PoELab, PoE Ninja and Path of Exile Trade.

TFT was never and will never be used by me on the principle that I don't want to play a 'Discord' game.

I really wish GGG implemented either an in-game trading system (Auction House), and/or the opportunity to bring up the website trading query in game, and relegated the service to the boards in various towns.

That's a lot of "we are aware of the issue" and 0% of "this is the upcoming change".

"Monitor the loot situation" don't monitor it... just fix it
Just decrease the Loot Goblins Loot explosions and add the loot to lesser mobs.
Suddenly not worth it to call in a culler and you may also interact with non touched mobs.
I'm glad everything has been "extensively tested".. again.
