Abyss challenge not working

Another "same here" post...

T16 Ramparts, rare
+2 via abyss implicit
+2 via Kirac craft
+1 via cheap scarab (I'm on SSF)

Carefully cleared lower part of the map, avoiding four abysses. Already spotted another one on the upper ramparts part of the map. Before I went up the stairs, I completed one abyss at a time with three troves and one depth (Lich Anamamu). Then went up, completed the 5th abyss with another trove. Didn't work. Now I'm sad like Kalandra! :|

It's very hard for me to re-spec for this since I'm SSF!
I hope this problem will be fixed as soon as possible..

Just to help others having problems with this bug:
- An abyss counts as completed, when you slay most?all? of the spawned monsters.
- Opening the trove doesn't matter!
- Running into a depth doesn't matter!
- If you completely cleared the map (0 monsters remain) before running the 1st abyss you can check if you really killed all spawned mobs.

Thus I suggest to avoid juiced maps and avoid the atlas tree abyss nodes: spawning more and harder monsters doesn't help to complete this challenge. And just don't run the depths.

I finished the challenge in "grave through, implicit +2 abyss" map, scoured, and with only two trivial mods via alteration. Added a small scarab and the bench craft => exactly five abysses spawned. Cleared the map and boss until 0 monsters remained. Then I started clearing one abyss at a time - always checking that 0 monsters remain. That finally worked for me.

Unless you completed 75 abysses already for the challenge, you can check the x/75 counter to confirm that some abyss really counts.

You haven't done your normal abyss challenge yet, so use that to check after each single abyss that it actually counted as complete. If not then you either haven't completed it yet, or it failed.
